What are you people thinking when you type this? It's extremely arrogant and not to mention, rude. What gives you the idea that you get to say when/if a debate or thread ends? Honestly, it's ridiculous and it makes you look like an a$$.

I don't know what /thread means .

I don't think I've ever seen a good debater use that phase.
I agree that it's arrogant and annoying.

@SilverSentry: It means "end thread," it's a term that people use when they think that they have given an undeniable argument and also think that they are the s#!t

Lol, well basically sis. If someone say's that reply back with full on FACT, realistic! answers.

The whole point of a debate in the debate forums is to prove to the person your debating with or "opponent" that your scenario or answer is right over theirs. If they choose to use that statement without convincing you (and you aren't a huge fanboy of a certain character), then they've failed.

@The Dark Huntress: I agree (as I usually do with what you say). I've said things like Quoted for undeniable truth, but the only time I say end thread is on a spite thread. Although, I type out "end thread"; I don't use "/thread". I agree with you though. It's pretty egotistical to think that what you say is end-all law in a debate.

@Silver2467: QFT and QFUT are different, though. That's you agreeing with somebody's opinion, not tearing it down.

Welcome to the real world. There are a lot of rude people out there.

Sometimes it is used because the thread actually ends by a certain post. If, say, someone posts a Venom vs Anti-Venom battle thread, and you post their encounter in New Ways to Die, that elicits /thread. There is literally nothing else that needs to be added on that topic after that.

That aside, I don't recall ever using it it in a response, and as a term it's misused most of the time, by people who are under the impression that their post ended a thread, all the while it didn't. At this point, it's rather typical to be honest. There are far worse forms of "trolling" than using that.
