if people only do good things because they want to go to heaven, then they have already failed at understanding what it means to be a good person. don't do something good because God exist or because you don't want to go to hell, do good things because it is the right thing to do. by the way, i'm a christian and a proud one.

@The Oblivion: i don't really believe in satan 100% for two reasons, first, if there was a supernatural being as powerful and intelligent as satan, i think it would have better things to do than spending its entire existence trying to corrupt peoples souls and secondly, i believe that people are evil enough all by themselves.

@Razor_: i am a christian who believes in evolution and the big bang and it does not affect my beliefs at all. science actually makes my beliefs in God stronger. after all, science is the language of God.

@Vrakmul: the only reason poverty exist is because the people who own most of the wealth in the world are greedy. they waste their money buying mansions and private jets when their next door neighbors are living on food stamps. so once again, people are the cause of evil and suffering, not God.
