National Sovereignty, Total Independence in politics, economy, administration and culture. Try to make a country what can take care of itself.

Sadly, He's right, it wouldn't work. in an ideal world, this would be a perfect way of life, but this isn't an ideal world, humans are naturally greedy, deceitful, petty, hateful and violent, we are too divided to ever be united.

Exactly. There is a reason we have nations. Human nature lead to the developement of nations for a reason. We are too divided, at least at this point to ever be able to do that. Who knows in the distant future things may change.

Also I would not really want to be ruled exclusively by scientists.

I'd make adjustments, but keep the same system.

Why would we want to demolish democratic based systems in favor of something else?

The democratic system's fine as it is. Communism and fascism aren't systems by which to live by and I'm not one for clans or small groups. I'll adapt if there's a global apocalypse but I doubt that will come in my lifetime.
