A world without governments

If you had the chance to eliminate the current system of your national government, what type of government (communism, fascism, etc) or social structure (living in clans, small societal groups, etc) would you put to replace it?

The democratic system's fine as it is. Communism and fascism aren't systems by which to live by and I'm not one for clans or small groups. I'll adapt if there's a global apocalypse but I doubt that will come in my lifetime.

Why would we want to demolish democratic based systems in favor of something else?

Political nihilism. :)

Also, I am not sure why anyone would want Communism because it will never work. Furthermore, Fascism is simply iniquitous and scarily natural and popular. I also do not like tribalism. It is too divisive.

I'd have my situation like the one in Somalia. I kid, I kid. I like America, so I'll keep it the same.

I'd make adjustments, but keep the same system.

I say let's get rid of ALL political system, borders, and ideologies in the world. Let's build UNITED EARTH, and let the scientists run the planet instead of politicians. Hunger and poverty would become history in no time. There would be huge technological and scientific advances, and humanity as we know it would make a giant leap. One people, one planet.

Would never work.

Sadly, He's right, it wouldn't work. in an ideal world, this would be a perfect way of life, but this isn't an ideal world, humans are naturally greedy, deceitful, petty, hateful and violent, we are too divided to ever be united.

Exactly. There is a reason we have nations. Human nature lead to the developement of nations for a reason. We are too divided, at least at this point to ever be able to do that. Who knows in the distant future things may change.

Also I would not really want to be ruled exclusively by scientists.

National Sovereignty, Total Independence in politics, economy, administration and culture. Try to make a country what can take care of itself.

It is like they say - democracy is horribly inefficient as a political system for dealing with the problems of the modern day, but compared to the alternatives, it is by far the best.

Pretty much sums up my views on democracy and alternative governments.
