I also want to say (and Im not sure you meant it this way but this is how i am reading it) That I love the fact that your calling Cyclops Alpha. He is the first X men, hes the Mold for being an X man and his Evolution is vital to the comics. I love him being referred to as Alpha.

they have been here this whole time, no Marvel movie comes out and says "hey mutants aren't a thing" they are just not the focus point of any movie, you got heroes focused on fighting off alien invasions, or killing hitler or what have you their opinion on mutant relations doesnt have to come up in the movie, the news flash about mutants protesting in washington doesnt have to make it to the Captain america movie. Mutants have been their just like spiderman was already doing his superhero thing when they introduced him, it just hasnt been imporatnt to the marvel movies as of yet. Also the mutant population will prolly be rather small kind of like early X men comics when it was rare to know or be a mutant.

so nothing has to happen other then Oh guys heres the X men they run this cool school! Boom they are now in the marvel U, its going to be simple people need to not over think it. Spiderman was a huge addition to the marvel U that even moved other movies back BUT his introduction was simple, because thats just best for casual viewers. 99 percent of people dont give a rats ass what the X men were doing when loki attacked new york they just dont so why bother bogging down continuity trying to explain it for the 1 percent who do, why cant they were miles away at their school doing mutant stuff be the untold answer and be good enough, because thats what you will get

It would be and the energy control would be sexy, i still like the idea of firing multiple beams from his eyes at once

something like this basically where hes contorlling where all the beams go at once, and can use them essentially as a force field instead of a traditional one. His mind, and body being enhanced along with it would be cool and some self healing to be the reason hes back to life wouldnt bother me :-p

i dont mind the idea of some sort of classification but yea the whole omega alpha whatever system is broken and should never be used as a reference for any kind of debate or argument at all.

I like broken cyclops, if you insist on an upgrade maybe able to curve his beams some kind of like homing missiles or even project multi beams in multi directions from his visor kind of like when he did the disco ball thing with jean in Blue, something like that would be cool and wouldnt bother me. Maybe even the absorbing energy to increase his stamina and power but instead of that maybe it increases his mental processing power so he can think quicker and make decisions quicker and stay one step ahead during battles
