@the_impersonator: Yeah I know what Remembrance Day is, all I wrote was that it's really lazy to copy and paste the Canadian Flag all over the background of these covers in order to call them "Canadian". If they really wanted to do something for Remembrance Day they could have commissioned a more original cover.
@the_impersonator: @yung_ancient_one: I was being sarcastic towards these really lazy "Canadian" covers. I know Wolvie is Canadian, but it's lazy to plaster our flag in the background and call it a day.
@victorcheenoanleu: What ? Do you know of the event I'm actually referring to ? You know the story of artist Tess Fowler, who 8 years ago at a comic convention (either SDCC or another one, I am not certain) said that Brian Wood propositioned her to come to his room because he said he was interested in having her draw one of his titles. That's what made me lose respect towards Brian Wood.
These are not adjectives I would use to describe the Fantastic Four. I mean the crux of Hickman's FF run is that imagination is the greatest thing in the universe and it should be something to nurture and support. Also the coming of age story really doesn't fit, or more specifically it doesn't make sense to have that story with the entire team. The only person this arc makes sense for is Johnny, going from brash, arrogant, hard partier who abuses his powers for fame to someone much more sensible.
At this point I really hope Marvel gets the rights back to FF, if not they could always figure out a way to bring The Incredibles into the MCU.
