@akbogert: That was the exact same thought I had when issue 2 came out. Back when I thought this was gonna be a straight up "super star athlete discovers she has super powers" plot in a possible future. But Brian Wood has said on twitter he'll see about a sequel but he's not promising anything yet, which is a shame because a sequel might clear some problems I had also shows a lack of imagination for this universe.

@akbogert: She had good character development but because it involved her becoming distant from humanity I found myself lost as to who was the human perspective to the story. It sure as hell wasn't Mara's girlfriend, whatever her name was, or the generic general dude. That was definitely a problem I had.

God, Mara is a mixed of interesting ideas and no characters.

Are you sure you don't want me to tell you that in the last issue of Arena, X-23 became a cannibal and ate Hazmat's face off ? Cause that totally happened.

But seriously hope life gets streamlined a bit in the future.

@cyclops4president: Your Longshot analogy doesn't work because Longshot has been in X-Factor since 2009-2010 forward and Pete Wisdom has been active in the Gambit series. So again he hasn't been stagnant, it's just that he's a c-lister so he's easily overlooked.

Pete Wisdom is not a new character. He's been around since the 90's.

@akbogert: That's a very good point. So in the meantime Ill be reading the adventure of Lucifer Morningstar, former ruler of Hell, having adventures across all sorts of magical planes and humans.

@akbogert: Also it'll be a while before Ill read it cause DC is know reprinting Lucifer in trade and Ill be getting cause as soon as they come out. So freaking good.

@akbogert: Well Morning Glories is a series filled with mystery and intrigue that I feel would work much better in trade form. I already have one mystery series on my pull confusing the hell out of me, I don't need two.

@akbogert: All you need to know is that Astro City is a city with superheroes and supervillains in it. And aliens and all the other stuff that make capes and tights awesome. As you read along you'll get who each hero is supposed to be an analogue to.
