Weren't these comments made 8 years ago? Not sure why this should rustle jimmies but it is.

Because it gives a lot of insight into his line of thinking, which reflects his stupid decisions when handling the DC movies.

@daredevil21134: I liked it. Wish they would've showed more of the plot and characters for the casual fans.

@daredevil21134: I'm pretty sure that Coker said there'll be more humour in some of the interviews I watched from SDCC.

He said there will be fun, but the overall tone they're going for is similar to the Wire.

@littlesmurf: @martianmanhunterisbetterthancy:He briefly dated Misty when Rand was thought to be dead if I'm not mistaken. I honestly don't mind Misty with Sam, but that's just me. She was already around before Iron Fist debuted so not seeing them together really isn't a big deal for me.What I never understood is why Luke never went for Colleen Wing. LOL! I rather Luke be with anyone other than Jessica Jones though.

Did he? I thought Luke and Misty were just friends and comforted each other over Danny's death, and Misty was dating some other guy. Luke's main love interests were always Claire Temple, Harmony Young and Jessica Jones (who I also don't like).

@littlesmurf: I'd like more of the original Seven Soldiers of Victory involved

I wouldn't say garbage, but people like it because Marvel had the balls to try something like this. As comic fans, we like to see our heroes come to life. Marvel fans get to see a whole slew of their favorite characters while all DC fans get is Supes and Bats again and again.

Because Marvel doesn't have their Supes and Bats. lol. The only character they have that comes close in terms of popularity is Spider-Man and he's had a shitload of movies.

That doesn't mean they can't explore the library of characters. Just because DC has two very iconic characters (who they have butchered in the Zack Snyder movies) doesn't excuse them for wasting the rest of their characters. DC not using the rest of their characters will (and already has) bite them in the ass.

Marvel's made great strides in pushing various unique characters into the mainstream.

@daredevil21134: Yeah I love Secret Wars Shang Chi, he was less Mr Miyagi and more Drunken Master also he looked good with the long hair and beard, not so much like a Bruce Lee carbon copy.

They could just leave Luke mostly out of the book, he could be at home looking after the baby while Jessica is out and about being a private investigator. Is Hellcat any good?

Yeah maybe, I mean I'm not asking for a super gritty Power Man and Iron Fist, I just want one that isn't so cartoony.

I only read the preview of Hellcat that Jessica Jones appeared in so I can't say.

Agreed on Shang.

I don't know what the sales are on Power man and Iron Fist but I wonder how much longer it will be around/ People seem to both like it and dislike it.

Most people that seem to dislike it is because of the art. Outside of that, yes, it's a little goofy, but it's a pretty fun throwback book.

But I agree, I'd like to see a more mature Luke Cage and Iron Fist book, especially with the Netflix stuff coming up. If they do go that route, I hope they follow one of the good things about David Walker's run which is the use of old school Cage/Fist supporting characters and villains. I feel like they can be revamped and it sucks that a lot of them are left in the dust.

@littlesmurf: Idk.... I really like Danny and Misty together, and Marvel really needs to put them back together.

But I wouldn't mind seeing it in an alternate universe (Danny and Colleen were dating in the Ultimate universe). However for the main universe I prefer them 4 to be friends (besides Danny and Misty as lovers). It's nice to see people who are close friends with the opposite gender without having to date or go out with them.

But speaking of love interests, I wish Luke was still with Claire Temple.
