Personality:
Markus' defining characteristic is his extreme distaste for impropriety. He believes in always being polite and holding oneself to the highest of social standards. In addition, he rarely, if ever, utilizes his Dominate Discipline because he believes it is terribly distasteful, and instead prefers to use his cunning to manipulate his pawns.
As he was a devout Catholic during his human life, and a devout Cainite in his Kindred existence, Markus finds the use of a Crucifix as a source of parody to be extremely offensive, and all of his subjects are forbidden from wearing any Religious paraphernalia for ironic purposes. He wears his own Crucifix underneath his shirt, keeping it as a constant reminder of his damnation. Naturally, as a proud Lasombra and "proper" individual, Markus holds great disdain for the Tzimisce and their base activities.
Despite his humorlessness in some manners, Markus does revel in his existence as a Kindred. He has used his considerable wealth and influence to further the cause of the Sabbat, something he believes in completely, and desires only to see the armies of Caine conquer the planet. While his heart belongs only to the mysterious woman known as Katerina Dyer, Markus is a highly sexually active individual, it is only in this area where he exposes himself to debauchery.
