YAHF: The Issue of Two Houses

On that fateful All Hallows Eve in which the chaos mage Ethan Rayne tampered with the vestments stored within his establishment, one Xander Harris, fanboy extraordinaire, found sufficient garments to pander to his fevered geek imagination.

Having recently read of a race of super-humanoids of great power and amazingly aggressive and adaptive DNA, he fashioned himself the costume and back-story of one Xan-Der Zod, hybrid son of Krypton's General Zod and Anissa, the first born daughter of Argall, absolute ruler of the Viltrumite Empire.

As stated above, Zod is a pre-Crisis Kryptonian male. A military genius and leader of Krypton's armed forces. Beneath the light of any star other than a red giant's, such as Rao, the already impressive attributes which Kryptonians are gifted with become so much more. Equaling them as to gods.

Anissa is quite possibly the most powerful member of her species, seeing as Viltrumites breed for the improvement of their stock and are ruled by the most powerful and ruthless amongst themselves. She is also the daughter of Emperor Argall, ruler of the Viltrumite Empire for the last five thousand years, having maintained his grasp on Viltrum's throne despite numerous challenges.

As their son, Xan-Der is the sum of their totals with an exponential outcome, surpassing in all matters both of his parents. Not only that, but the genetic lottery has made Xan-Der immune to any and all weaknesses and vulnerabilities which may afflict either Kryptonians or Viltrumites.

Thus, out of good old Xander Harris, Xan-Der Zod is born thanks to the machinations of Mr. Rayne.
