Story Concept #12 redux trip
All purpose sidekick and comic relief Xander Harris was determined not to be hampered by public opinion this particular All Hallows Eve. He was going to parade his love for all things comic booky and not bother about what his friends might think.
The question was who should he dress as? He wanted to tweak the noses of his fellow geeks and dress as someone obscure but awesome.
His choice of character will be the cause of many a nightmare later on, but at the time, he cannot think of a more "fan-boy" choice. Who better to go as than an amalgamation of some of the most tormented and warped heroes in comic-dom? The quintessential poster-children of "paved with good intentions": Kid Marvelman, the Plutonian and Super-Shock.
If his choices do not scream "I know ALL about super-heroes!" to all and sundry, nothing will.
Once again, the Sunnydale effect will exact its price on our heroes for, regardless of Ethan Rayne's manipulations and overall intentions, the amount of energy necessary to crossover beings of such power and significance in their own realities is such that at the spell's cessation its effects will permanently remain upon one Alexander L. Harris.
