Am I the only one that actually liked Wolverine's brown/gold costume? I always felt they should go back to the well and modernize this 80's classic.

I have no problem with this. I just wish they didn't have to write an article highlighting it. It would be better if they just put it out there as non-chalantly as possible, internet reaction be damned.

Jeph Loeb? I'm expecting alot of unnecessarily brutal/graphic deaths of pretty much everyone.

There were moments in Morrison's run on Batman when Bruce's inner dialogue actually served to make him seem even more of a bad ass. Portraying him as stalwart, and fearless while still having it all predicated on a level of confidence that someone like him would have, rather than trying to make him seem "cool" because he's the hero.

If they're trying to reestablish the DCU, who better to anchor that inception with than Superman. This could be amazing or terrible, but so far there isn't enough to go on to make any qualitative statements. That short cape does look kind of goofy though, but so did the underwear-on-the-outside look that somehow survived 80's years.

I'm glad they're getting away from the whole spandex/underwear on the outside design that has hampered their looks for so long. I was watching an episode of Mythbusters about superhero tropes. They insisted that one of "must-haves" for dressing up as a superhero was to wear the underwear over the pants, I cringed. Superhero comics have needed to evolve past that for a long while. Now is the time I guess.
