Reeves and routh played thesame character, so there is only one movie superman.

Superman had problems facing off the computer-thingie in superman III, and the evil clone of captain planet in part IV.

Thor is only at full power for a few moments in the movie(When he fights the frost-giants, and later when he powers up again to fight the destroyer armor.).

There is too little screen time for Thor to fully grasp the extend of his powers, while some feats of Superman(the timetravel), is just plain ridiculous.

In a slugfest, Thor would stomp him.

Hiro would only stop time to ask everyone for his autograph, go home and read his comic books. Oh wait, morals are off, well, in this case Hiro solo's.

Everyone in the audience was laughing when he was shouting to his lantern: "To infinity and beyond!", and then "By the power of greyskull!!". they had to stop there, because all other superhero transformation sentences were used up by peter parker in Sam Raimi's first spiderman movie.

The sword of power is indistructable, and only serves as an antenna. He-man himself can overpower Lion-o.
Teela and cheetara would be evenly matched, but I give Cheetara the edge in speed
Man-at-arms prowess and gadgets can take care of Panthro
Tigra would make mince-meat of both Man-E-Faces and Meck-a-Neck, and Ram-Man would not be able to lay a hand on Wiley-kit&kat, but between stratos and roboto, and buzz-off and all the other masters they are sure to lose somewhere
Orko would try to cast a spell to imprison Snarf, but accidently set him on fire...

MOTU eventually has this.
(And yes, mumm-ra is tougher then skeletor, actually, with the exception of his goons, everyone is tougher then skeletor)

In the Tv-series "Birds of prey", Barbara was "oracle", wheelchairbound, the works, however, midway in the series she had a device attached to her belt that allowed her to walk again, put on her batsuit to fight an old-opponent. , albeit unstable... In the series finale, she had upgraded and perfected this device and was able to fight the series antagonist, Harley Quinn.

It's not like it has not happended before that things, stories and characters coming from spin-off media make their way into the mainstream/canon comics...

Thor has this, he is more experienced fighting beings that either rival his own physical power, or are superiour, and then he depends on the abilities and striking power of his hammer to level the playing field. Superman is claimed to "always hold back", and fighting inferiour opponents. Thor has the edge in experience.

Booster Gold uses future tech as a hero, the legion time-travels several times, even batman did it in the comics.

However, in each case this is usually done to re-correct the timeline as it should be, because some villain messed it up, also, only the timetravellers themselves remember everything.

Someone here posted the justice league episode, in the second part there is an interesting converstation:
Old Bruce: "Surprised to see me?"
Batman: "I'm surprised I lived this long"
Old Bruce:"Somethings not right, I do not have any recollection of travelling to the future or meeting my future self"

In later DC continuity, JLU batman claims to fully remember the incident, so does Hal Jordan, since they fixed the timeline together by sabataging chronos's timebelt putting it into a continuoous loop and were dropped back into reality. the incident later never happened in Future DCAU, Terry did not die at the hands of the granddaughters of Harley Quinn, and old Bruce lived on to become even older Bruce.

However, both in Marvel and DC, there is at the end of a comic usually a tribute of how the hero fixed the timeline when traveling into the past, be it in the form of a painting or drawing or journal entry by those who he worked with while in the past.
