Whether its Bruce Wayne or Dick Grayson under the cowl, Batman is my #1 hero, no question.

How could I not put him on my list? Sure, he's overpowered, and not terribly complex, but let us not forget what he--and all of should--stand for: truth and justice. By the way, those two things should be the cornerstones of the "American Way," but time has sadly changed that. But that's a conversation for another website.

I debated putting Frank on here since he barely qualifies as a "hero," but in the end I relented because he's that much of a bad-ass.

Being a horror nut, I'd be a fool not to mention ol' Al Simmons. I have no idea what the fuck they're doing with Spawn these days, but old-school Spawn still kicks ass.
