Eh, seems far too serious, like most modern sci-fi is unfortunately (a case of too much geek immersion?) The point about Judge Dredd is that although it's set in a future dystopia the comic is still able to replace tongue back in cheek every now and then.

I also didn't like the costume design right from the start. It's supposed to be huge, over the top and shiny all of the time again because it's the future and tongue in cheek. Karl Urban's voice is awful and he looks small even though he's a fairly burly guy.

The first film wasn't received all that well but I quite enjoyed it myself. I think this approach is wrong and I would have gone more with improving on what the original did well with the larger budget and greater possibilities with effects these days. You're not going to see the fatties, they're not going to say "Grud" and such and they don't even acknowledge 2000AD in the trailer so I'd say the British essence is all but gone in this. I'll see what the reviews say.

Is that Midnight Brown backing music? I sure hope they're still using it after all these years (like 4).

They put the figurines in the glass cases so you can have a good long look at them and hopefully feel that now you don't need to buy one because you know you have no room (or money) for it.

Always great to see a local jack (actually I don't know his name or where he's from exactly, just going on accents and that Dr Who is made in South Wales these days) in these videos! Good on ya son!

Unbelievable quality this year! Really says something about people embracing hobbies that not so long ago would have been ridiculed.
