When it comes to fighting skill it's Thor all the way. He has been fighting and training for thousands of years.

As I do most of my comic reading on marvel unlimited I am just now reading the post secret wars all new marvel titles and I am the opposite of impressed. I have not liked a single one. The mix ups ruin continuity and spiderman is now Tony stark junior. I don't like the original Tony stark why do I want Peter to become a clone of that turd? Oh and the x men are gone, but hey we have the inhumans. I mean I've never cared about the inhumans but that's a good substitution. I guess that's the end of my rant, back to work.

If they just mix things up a little it will be fine but a full or even partial continuity reboot would be a deal breaker for me. and as for waiting to see how "good" the new stuff is, that does not matter as history, characterization, and continuity are about 85% of why i read these books to begin with. And for the record I'm not someone who attacks everything Marvel does but i feel that a reboot is kind of a spit in the face to invested fans.

@transformers1024: Said:

"Fractions Hawkeye, Hickman's Avengers & New Avengers, Ant-Man by Nick Spencer, Spider-Gwen, Silk, Rocket Raccoon, Uncanny Inhumans.....,,.

Yea....go troll somewhere else..."

Not trying to start stuff, but i don't like any of these.

Everything I have seen looks abysmal and if they screw with continuity I'll find it hard to read even the older issues as they will have ceased to matter just as post Flashpoint DC has.

Tie between Captain America and Spider-Man. Tim Drake Robin gets honorable mention.

constant mini-series also muck up the works. I like them now and then but there are so many in continuity for spider-man and x-men it becomes hard to navigate sometimes.

Is it just me or is marvel's madness for "jumping on points" going to make it much harder for future readers to catch up on the back story and history of the characters they come to love. as a lapsed reader (missed most of the 2000s) i have noticed that all of the renumbering and title relaunches have made it much harder to get back up to speed. Also I don't remember having such a hard time breaking into comics in the first place, of course back in the 90's there were shorter story arcs and one offs that made jumping onto a series easy. Another thing that helps getting into a title without forced jumping on points, renumbering, or turning each arc into a limited series is having a frigging brain and a little patience. So what if the first issue you read doesn't answer all of your questions keep reading and dig into the back issues. learning what happened previously in a story is easier than ever now with this little thing i like to call the internet. All of the messing with series and numbering sends the message that marvel cares very little for the complete story and just wants you to buy what what they are putting next., so Forget continuity and keep consuming true believer. EXCELSIOR!!!
