This "Beyond Belief" and this "Beyond Belief" are the same volume. One has last year's number 0 digital issue listed, and one has last week's number 1 issue. They should be combined.

I was going to try and edit the entries for the Red Panda characters to fit the guidelines, but I had a question. The comics share continuity with the radio series and novels, so much of their info would come from those sources. The comics are set early in the continuity, so a lot of Character Evolution, Major Arcs and such happen after the events of the comics. For example, Harry Kelly, still around 10-11 years old in the comics, went off to war at 17, was given super powers by Canada's Meta Project, and has returned from WWII to become the super hero called the Black Eagle. I wasn't sure if I should base entries off of the entirety of the continuity, or only what has appeared in the comics. Suggestions?

Looking at the wiki/database, I see it has expanded greatly since I last spent much time here. Seeing my favorite character/series, the Red Panda, here, I was going to add some more characters from the MonkeyBrain comics. Then I noticed the database now includes movies and tv episodes, which I don't remember being here before. That is pretty awesome, but it got me wondering about the Red Panda. The Red Panda began in 2005 as an old time radio-style audio drama podcast. Decoder Ring Theatre just released the ninth season finale, episode #108. What might the thoughts be on including these radio shows as episodes as well? In the case of the Red Panda, the comics and the audio drama (and the novels) are all written by Gregg Taylor and all take place in the same continuity.

The Burroughs Estate has trademark on the name Tarzan. The first 8 books are public domain. Dynamite is basing this on the public domain material. They are not calling it Tarzan to avoid legal trouble. This is the same thing they did with their "Warlord of Mars" series, because the Burroughs Estate has trademark on the name John Carter, but the first 5 John Carter books are public domain.
I think DC trademarked Captain Marvel. He is not called SHAZAM.Shazam is the name of another DC character.
No, he is not called Shazam within the book.  He is still Captain Marvel.  However, the book is called "SHAZAM!" and all the Captain Marvel action figures say "SHAZAM!"  - not Captain Marvel.  Marvel's Captain Marvel books are titled "Captain Marvel" however.  This is the same type of situation.

I just quickly scanned the responses here and did not see this suggestion:

I'd like to see a "created by" line added to the character info boxes.  Of course, you would need to able to enter more than one name since there are a lot of co-creations.  That's just a little piece of information I like to able to quick reference.

I already mentioned this to you, but I'll also put it here in case anyone else has feedback on it: Being able to add more than one publisher.  That would be handy with the current Golden Age revival-fever going on.  The original Daredevil is currently appearing/scheduled to appear in titles from at least 3 different publishers (AC, Dynamite and Image).

I believe this is another Captain Marvel situation.  Marvel has trademark for the title Captain Marvel, so DC's book about the original Captain Marvel has to be called "SHAZAM!"  Marvel has trademark on Daredevil, so the book has to be called something else.  I'm sure if they wanted to they could still call him Daredevil inside.  Image is calling him Daredevil inside Savage Dragon.
