9/10. I was surprised I liked this so much. Sex Crimianls has been a been a good book so far, but it hasn't really impressed me.
This issue totally did. I was just hooked to every panel. I was just so into the story. Some great writing from Matt Fraction.If only he still wrote Hawkeye like this.

8.5/10. I almost passed on this series by the look of the cover, but I later had to pick this up since Joshua Williamson is writing it,
Seriously, Williamson is becoming my favorite writer. Everything I picked up from him so far hasn't let me down. I loved GHOSTED first arc. I'm loving Nail-biter. And Birthright is another hit!
The concept of this book is very gripping and I knew I was going to end up liking it after reading the story summary. Williamson knows how you pull you in with just the first issue. The art also fits the book perfectly.
If you haven't picked this up, do it right now!!! FORGET ABOUT BATMAN!!!

8/10. Splendid first issue. Snyder loves writing horro and he's good at it. Jock's art is just wonderful. I also ended up reading the back letter from Snyder, and WOW! I think I believe in witches now.
And fist issue of this series cam out and they are ALREADY MAKING A MOVIE OF THIS WITH BRAD PIT! Congratulations Snyder on reaching Mark Miller status.

8/10. I'm warming up to Edmonson's Punisher. This was a great issue. I like the new female cop character. She DID something in this issue that reminded me of Rachel Alves from Greg Rucka's Punisher and how much I missed her. AND OUT OF KNOW WHERE, Racheal Alves makes her first appearance EVER since RUCKA's Punisher!!! WHAT!?!? WHAT!?!?! That moment bumped up this issue to 8/10.

7.5/10. After reading this, I still don't know how I feel about this and THE RETURN OF <***BLEEP***> I still have so much questions. I will wait to see how everything turns out next issue. I still was entertained though. It also had some great battle scenes between Justice League and Batman. BTW Batman kicks their ass. BATGOD!
I'm just praying to BASED GOD it doesn't turn out like ZERO YEAR.
I usually love GREG CAPULLO's art but I didn't like it that much this issue. I didn't like the way he drew some of the pages and The Justice League, but the final page was fantastic though. The back-up story was solid and creepy also.
I also had to lower the rating because this comic was 5 frickin DOLLARS! F-OFF DC. I'm tired of Marve making all their comics 4$ now DC is doing this crap also?!?!? C'mon! I can buy the first trade of DEADLY CLASS WHICH CONTAINS 6 issues just for 6 bucks!!!! THis is why so many people downloads comics illegally.

And the art was a lot better.

6.5/10. I'm also not sure about this new direction Batgirl is going. This first issue was not bad, but wasn't great either.
This is completely different from Gail Simone's run, which I loved. Barbara doesn't even feel like he way she has been in the New 52. This is like a total different character. This could have easily been Steph Brown. DC -_-
It's cool that DC is TRYING diversifying their books like Marvel, but it feels forced. I think this new direction will pull in new TEENAGE readers. The new look is very trendy and made for comic readers from Tumblr, twitter, and such. The tone is not made for me, but let's see how next issue goes.
BTW this book had soooo many little panels with overwhelming texts. They need to tone that down. That style really turns me off from reading.

5/10. Well, I had hope this NEW MARVEL EVENT was going to be at-least good. ll new events so far has been dissapointing, lack luster and down-right terrible.
I blame myself for having some trust in MARVEL events. This was not good. There was a nice moment Havok and Cylops coming together, but that's about it. I won't be reading the next issue.
Somehow Marvel pulls me in with these EVENTS and CROSSOVERS. I will probably buy into the New Secret Wars of 2015, and it will end up sucking.
