From Terry Gillian back in the 90's up to Darren Aranofsky in the late 00's, fans of the graphic novel watchmen kept on being put down by the news of screen re-writes and then later hearing the pitches to be put down.

Then came Zack Snyder director of 300.....the fans were skeptic at first but as time went by and a trailer emerged there was some hope for the fans. When it was time to see it mixed reviews came pouring in.

Some liked it, others didn't.
