Wolverine is currently being depicted as someone who definitely doesn't deserve to be an Avenger. I do agree with most fans that he is better off a loner but that's part of his appeal to me - being part of a group and attempting to accommodate himself to that. X-Men is more like a family, all sharing a common bond through the X-gene and he has a sense of belonging with that group.

I'm not a big Avengers fan, not by a long stretch, but I've always perceived membership to be a badge of honour. The Wolverine I knew was honourable but the character isn't being depicted that way anymore. Wolverine being an Avenger means diddly now because the character doesn't fit the bill. He makes for a terrible Avenger.

The bar has been raised. I just got back from watching this film and I am still reeling from the experience. Gotta say, this is a super hero movie done not just right, but perfectly. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.

It's disconcerting how this is being handled since it seemed to me that the whole point of the Uncanny Avengers was to bring both groups together in a more tactile and organic way than just randomly announcing a new X-Man every so often who joined the Avengers line-up.

Still can't properly give my opinion as I am still in the midst of catching up but it grates that important characters have been killed and not a hint of a ripple has been expressed in one of the other X-Men/Avenger books. It appears deaths in comics have become even less profound and more deserving of eye-rolling than ever.

It's offensive. What an incredibly stupid solicit.

It's easy to kill off major characters in one book (and dramatically) but not so easy for other writers to accommodate it. Beyond annoying, considering how important Rogue is and at the very least, Wolverine should have noticed since he's running around, healing factor free.

But I am way behind in my reading so maybe there's something, somewhere. Like X-Factor? You'd think Gambit would be losing his sh*t.

@raiiyn: You are sad. And sick. And I am so happy to have gotten rid of you from my life and as for your "aunt" -- I have know her quite well and I know even more about you. You are a deceitful, lying, thief who digs her claws into young teenage girls and wring them for all their worth. You are still doing this, but in Montreal -- I don't believe in Karma but you're destroying yourself well enough on your own.

I am ignoring everyone and anything to do with this. I wish I could say I am stunned but I've been through enough these past two years. I moved on -- and learned my lesson.
