I kinda always loved X-Men for how far out they'd let their story arcs expand, as a kid that was always something that I appreciated because the majority of any other fictional content you were introduced to tended to be very linear & mostly serving as some sort of educational basis.
I think after that last season, Heroes has just burnt too many bridges for me. That first season was so great & every thing afterwards was such trash, but I was fine with that so long as they left that original season alone. All the season 4 bullshit that went back & meddled with the events of the initial season just severed whatever interest I still had in that universe.
I think I'd much rather see some smaller scale comic book movies like this in production than the big budget super shiny effects driven ones that marvel's planning on popping out annually.
