Pretty cool, brutal stuff!!

I liked certain bits of both of the latest Punisher movies, but I wish they could tackle the story like Nolan did the recent Batman flicks. I think the Punisher would translate awesomely in a Dark Knight-esque type of story/movie, which was just as much of a cool crime drama as it was a realistic comic book movie. It would have to me more violent of course, with the Punisher icing bad guys the way he does...

Yeah I also didnt expect it too, Avengers has a wider audience esp for a summer popcorn flick and the draw of $16 3-D movie tickets adding to it coffers.

Now that reviews have come back and people are less scared to go to the theaters, it will make even more money in the coming weeks, Im definitely seeing it again and again.

Totally agree - this movie is definitely worth watching a second, third and fourth time...can't wait for the Blu-ray so I can watch it on repeat at home...just like I do with the Dark Knight.

Didn't think it would top Avengers.

Avengers just has more crossover appeal.

Still an awesome flick though!

Great movie - great ending!

I just sorta wish that Bane hadn't sounded so polite - his voice should have been a little scarier.

Here's a thought:

If the rope that they tied to you in the prison went all the way to the top and outside of it - why couldn't someone just climb up it to reach the top? All it would take is arm strength. There would be no need to jump to that ledge. The only explanation I can think of is that there were 2 ropes - one that brought you high enough to reach the ledge and then a second that brought you the rest of the way up once you were on it.
