@sanohibiki: The "glorified moral standard Superman" is the core of his character mate. If you don't like that, maybe Superman isn't for you. The depiction of him in the New 52 hasn't met a lot of fans standards as shown in Saren's wonderful analysis. It isn't restrictive to show Superman as having an unshakeable moral compass and it isn't damaging to demonstrate that he's a symbol for a better tomorrow. All those claims are erroneous, fallacious and miss the symbolic goodness Superman represents in both fictional and real mediums. That's why Pre New 52 and All Star>New 52 because they get what Superman is about. New 52 Superman still has a long way to go before he's at that kind of standard. Thus New 52 isn't the most organic blend at all, it's "a brash kid who was just a little arrogant and a little bit of a jerk while having his heart in the right place, without realizing that that was never intended to be some dogmatic status quo for all eternity."

@lvenger: Do you see Wonder Woman fans venturing over to the Superman boards just to cause trouble?

PowerWoman could fit that criteria. But in regards to this thread, Frozen was making it to note the differences in power between Superman and Wonder Woman in the New 52 being more obvious than before. That's not a deliberately antagonistic topic.

Why did the dog suddenly attack the kid like that?

Regrettably the way the dog may have been treated or even the role of its territorial genetic ancestry may have caused it to attack the kid without warning. There are plenty of stories of dangerous dogs that are too threatening to the public warranting them to be euthanised for the good of the community. Domestic pets may be domesticated but some still have their wild instincts.

Kudos to the cat for stepping up and showing that cats are lovable and protective as well.

@outside_85: Mate @frozen isn't throwing dung at Wonder Woman in this thread. He's pointing out the factual power difference between the two that's always been but is more emphasised in the New 52 than it was Pre Flashpoint. I fail to see bias or trolling in here.

And even if she's nerfed, at least Azzarello is giving her better writing and stories to make up for it :P

@ultimatesmfan: The Justice League hasn't outshone Superman in Unchained in the slightest. Hell only Batman and Wonder Woman have showed up and Batman's involvement has added to the quality of the story rather than detracted from it. In Doomed, the involvement of other DC characters has just muddled the story up entirely. As for Azz having Superman show up, that was never his intention in the slightest. He wanted to write his own take on Wonder Woman, one that doesn't account for the pandering PR move that is Superman and Wonder Woman's romance. That's what makes it so good.

@ccraft: He should have been something greater in the first place. Not heeding that part of Superman is a guarantee for failure in a Superman adaptation.

This is looking way better than anything going on this poor excuse of an event called Doomed with the exception of Unchained. At least these two actually qualify as actual Superman stories that represent the character and his mythos far better than this current event is. Why am I not surprised that solo ongoings beat events in quality every time?

@matchesmalone21: Thanks for the scans, they were decent but I was put off with how anti climatically the story ended to say the least.

@dondave Thanks for tagging me, I just avoided commenting till I read the issue myself.
