This new site layout sucks. Just in case it wasn't obvious.

@lvenger: yes. White Lantern

But he was never a White Lantern Pre New 52. Still, White Lantern Kyle doesn't have any indication he has good enough TP defence feats to resist J'onn. Especially since MMH has casually mind wiped him along with the rest of the League before.

@pope052 - Majiin Buu Saga Goku vs @nickzambuto - Mystic Gohan.

It does sound interesting, but it's been pretty established that Gohan would win, despite Goku possessing better and more consistent feats overall - it's just that a Dragon Ball versus Dragon Ball character battle is essentially a game of ABC Logic.

What about Battle of Gods? SSJ3 Goku seemed to do better against Bills than Mystic Gohan though maybe that was due to lack of training.

@eyedcyou: Is this White Lantern Kyle? I'm still leaning towards J'onn but I'll wait for some more arguments first.

@lvenger thoughts?

Batman's killing of Dent was more accidental than anything else whereas Superman killed Zod in cold blood deliberately.

Choosing to kill a man instead of letting him butcher a family is hardly in cold blood. He didn't want to, but it's what he felt was necessary, given his level of experience.

Put in a similar position, Captain America would do the exact same and he's as morally virtuous as any hero.

I'd hate for you to to think I'm looking down on you here, it's just what I think.

The thing with your Cap example is that Cap was trained as a soldier. It's been retconned into his history that, if push comes to shove, he'll cross the line in the heat of battle to get the job done. I'm fine with Cap killing as it makes sense within his character and backstory. In contrast, Superman doing that act isn't within his character as Superman is not a soldier. He's supposed to be an ideal and an example to humanity, and this isn't exactly something a fictional character that many people look up to and draw inspiration from should do IMO.

Our Next Move

After some time around the fire with Reality, the hunting party eventually returned unscathed and carrying a bounty of food. Meat, berries, water to be boiled and purified, a good haul had been made on this trip. It pleased my eyes and my stomach to see we had some food to last a while. I ate one of the gulls Iron Lotus had brought back and asked Nomad if I could ate just a few of the bayberries he'd brought back. He approved, telling me that I should consider eating a more balanced diet with less meat in it. "Uh huh, I'll definitely cut down on the meat for the future. I might have enough of it being stuck on this island." I then drank some of the fresh water the firebenders had purified.

After some general small talk and chit chat, Nomad (@lunacyde) cleared his throat to gain everyone's attention. "We need a balanced diet to replenish our bodies. I know some may scoff at this, but it is important to remain a sense of variety for health as well as morale. He provided mushrooms, bayberries and other vegetarian resources he'd scavenged. He then turned his attention to me and moved onto the matter of seawater. "We will need more salt to preserve this meat, I will go retrieve some sea water from the nearby coast. Arcus and Nighthunder can evaporate the water and we can use the sea salt to cure the dried meat." He extended his hand in a friendly handshake. "I will be stealthy and see what else I can see of our enemies while I am out. You are in charge while I am gone, the team will look to you for leadership. If I fail to return within the hour don't bother sending a search party. We all know if I'm not back by then I'm probably dead."

"Of course Nomad, I'll make sure to keep things up and running round here whilst you're gone. I'll have them eating berries and mushrooms by the time you get back" I joked, hoping to cover the tension over the possibility that Nomad wouldn't return. Nomad then took off and soon after, Oblivion gave a mellow dramatic performance of a drama from South East Texas and took off after Nomad. I decided not to stop him, Nomad would be better off if he had some back up on his sea water trip, there were still plenty of opponents out there. Safety in numbers was always a good thing, even with Nomad's exceptional stealth and agility. Turning to the rest of the group, I decided to cover some topics.

"OK gents, whilst we're all set for the moment, I feel that it wouldn't hurt to talk about some future plans. In regards to food storage, we've already discussed how to preserve our spoils of the hunt. With two firebenders, we can smoke the meats we have and boil seawater to get salt. As long as we have containers to store the water and food, we should be set. As for our base, we may be moving things along down here but for now, we're set. As you can see from the walls, I've made some hiding holes with my Earth bending to conceal anyone who remains at base in the walls. I thought about the idea of erecting some Earth walls with help from Iron Lotus but I don't want to risk destabilising the conditions of the tunnel. We'll discuss that with Nomad once he returns. Finally, the biggest topic of all, our opponents on the island. Lotus, have you sensed much activity from near our position?" I enquired.

@erik: (btw im happy to be a judge for fights other than my own of course. you can ask im pretty impartial in stuff like this)

It's not just a matter of being impartial. I would prefer my judges to be well-respected members of the CV community in addition to being well-known debaters.

well i dont want to brag but i was @kidman560 before i became serrure. It's totally your call, but i was just offering. if you want recommendations i strongly suggest @boschepg@cosmicallyaware1@higorm and @lvenger all 4 are well known debaters and well-respected. Cosmicallyaware and Lvenger are hall of fame bound (most likely)

Yeah but I'm in this round as a participant. I can't say it would be entirely fair for me to be a judge in a game I'm playing in. I could easily be accused of impartiality in game. As could you and Higor.
