So excited for this movie the legend himself is helping with the movie. I just hope Vegeta gets some good spotlight and none of the other crap where he usually gets beat on.

Apologies for scaring you like that :P It does seem interesting but the only concern is when the film will get translated into English. DBZ films do tend to take a time to get translated into English. And they had better get the Funimation voice cast to reprise their roles or else I won't be happy!

Damn. I was hoping this movie would take place BEFORE a crapload of Super Saiyans ruined DBZ.

Super Saiyan was always something that seemed impossible to achieve in the early DBZ, it was almost to the point of just being a myth. When Goku finally achieved it it was pretty damn awesome. It was almost a dream that Goku achieved that enabled him to defeat Frieza.

Though I agree that the Cell Saga is a pretty good saga, DBZ should have ended with Frieza's death and Goku's sacrifice to achieve that. Would have made the series 10x better.

Yeah but the action and fights that were gained from more Super Saiyans made for more intense fight scenes. Plus Trunks was an interesting character and Piccolo didn't get shoved to the side until after his fight with Andoid 17. As for the others, they're only human. Very powerful humans but humans all the same. Of course they'll be surpassed by the Saiyans, Namekians, androids and whatever species Frieza is in the saga.

And then your second to last paragraph I agree with. Trunks and Goten made the concept of a Super Saiyan ridiculous. Even Vegeta said so. Finally I have to disagree with you on the last paragraph. The series worked better with Goku's sacrifice in the Cell saga. That's where Kai ended and I think that was a much better place to finish than ending at the Frieza saga. The Cell Saga was a much more natural place to end than the Frieza saga IMO. Though with all the deaths at the end of the sagas, Toriyama was always trying to end DBZ but couldn't because of its popularity.

@Lvenger I reckon. I do enjoy Cell Saga, though. It's a pretty good storyline and I like how they sort of brought back the Red Ribbon Army. The whole Goku having a heart attack thing was silly, but overall it was a good saga.

GT is non canon. Really hope the movie doesn't try to induct it though, with Super Saiyan Gohan back... we'll see.

I don't think it was stated. But it's only safe to assume he lost it maybe one he was swallowed up by Buu it took all his mystic powers like how it dispelled the Vegito fusion.

I hate the ears on the cat, but other than that it seems cool. I want more Fusions personally.

It's one of my favorite scenes from a DBZ movie period.

And it's been a while since i've seen this movie, but if i remember right, Bojack goes something like, "that was Goku?"

And he'd heard of him because Goku killed King Kai indirectly, which is what set Bojack free.

But it's been a while, so i could be wrong.

My only real problem with Fusion Reborn was Janemba's design. The first form wasn't that cool, and the second form wasn't that intimidating. I woulda prefereded a darker clolor than purple.
