Agreeing with most people on Evolution being horrible, such a sad excuse for a DB movie. But I am looking foward to this new one, been hoping for some new stuff for so long.

Am wondering what its going to be about....though really, I think I would prefer just a re-telling of Z. Focus on all the characters, make them better instead of leaving them in the dust....I mean sure it might take a while seeing as there are 9 fighters(not including Chaotzui since he really didn't do anything at all...AT ALL.) It always bothered me that, while they had gravity training rooms, and all that better then what they were training with already that Yamcha/Tien/Krillin didn't use any of it to help them...

Ah. Not live action? But still, pretty cool news. Excited.

That would be interesting though I'm guessing it'll follow on from the Buu Saga. Probably set after it like Wrath of the Dragon was. And I think that humans couldn't handle the increased gravity, even enhanced humans like Tien/Yamcha/Krillin. Yamcha was nearly crushed when he tried to train.

@Deranged Midget: Possibly. In my link, Toriyama does say that he's giving a great deal of involvement in the screen writing process. And I didn't know you liked DBZ. Another surprise interest we have in common!

And yes! DBZ was one of my favourite shows as a child growing up. I've seen the series countless times over!

If this ends up like Dragonball : Evolution than I will lose all hope for the DBZ Live Action Movies.

@YourNeighborhoodComicGeek: It's an anime film not a live action one I'm afraid. Some serious thought needs to be done about live action DB films.

@Deranged Midget: Same here. Which is your favourite saga? Mine's the Android Saga.

@Wolfrazer: The humans all got dimished with the introduction of Saiyans, Namekians, other space aliens and androids really. it's quite sad that such integral characters were diminished and ignored in DBZ.

I hate live action films for cartoon series. They always fail miserably.

I know they would never do it, but I wish they would continue the show and quick up where GT left off.

@Lvenger: Oooh, favourite saga eh? I wasn't exactly a fan of most of the Namek saga but I loved the end of the Frieza saga; Goku vs Frieza.

I'm inclined to say the Android saga as well. Everything seemed so rushed after the Cell saga :P

@Deranged Midget: Quite a long fight but Frieza was such an awesome villain. My favourite in fact. Sure there are more powerful foes and Goku even mocks Frieza's power in Yo! Son Goku and his Friends Return! But when it came to cruelty and callousness, Frieza had no equal. I prefer the new voice actor to the original though.

@War Killer: I'm afraid you are. In GT's defense, it did have good stories. Space adventures, the destruction of Earth, the consequences of overusing the Dragon Balls. They were just executed poorly.

@War Killer: GT wasn't bad, they just threw out a lot of continuity out the window.

@Lvenger: Best part of Frieza, he was the only villain who lacked regeneration and fought literally everyone without any aid or rest. It made him that much more badass and calculating!

The first one made Dare Devil look like one of the best films ever.

@Deranged Midget: I know. In the Android Saga, at least Cell had the excuse he had Piccolo's cells in him. With Majin Buu, it was like "Giant pink demon that acts like a spoiled child can regenerate! Deal with it!" The last DBZ saga did have some charms though. Fusion and Super Saiyan 3. Super Saiyan 4 in GT completely ruined SSJ3. I thought it was a cool concept that such a dramatic power increase would result in great deal of energy consumption. Not to mention SSJ3 looked badass!

SSJ4 was kinda cool but it took away the entire purpose of SSJ3 like you said. SSJ3 was such a dramatic power increase that Goku could barely keep his energy up in the state. It was epic!

@War Killer:  SSJ 4 was kinda...meh to me, really I think they should have just stuck with regular SSJ. I mean the beginning of DBZ talked about how powerful the SSJ was, how none could match it and all that...and that was kinda thrown away due to SSJ 2 + 3. As for watching the characters grow....thats all well and good, but Pan shouldn't have been shown at all should have been replaced by Gohan, Trunks.....prefer Future Trunks by a long shot and really the show completely destroyed every character making Goku always the one to come in and save everyone even Vegeta. Gohan....shouldn't have become some uber nerd, and still should have been a fighter in some form or another and actually should have used his mystic form why they got rid of that who knows, there was no evidence suggesting he lost the ability to use it.

And who needs hair extensions when you can just scream your way into extending your hair? :P Sean Schemmel actually fainted during the screaming sessions for the first SSJ3 transformation. Poor guy.

@Lvenger: Yeah, but it was easily one of the best transformations and most epic screams ever! I get chills every time I see that scene!

and Im with you @War Killer: I enjoyed DBGT, maybe not as much as DBZ but it was cool. SSJ4 is an awesome transformation and SSJ4 Gogeta was a real treat to see.

Oh I'm the same, I enjoyed DBZ far more than DBGT, I just don't hate GT as many fans seem to is all.

I might be the minority on this one, but I really didn't care for any of the sagas after Cell Games.

@ShrimpDino: It is. But it'll be a while before it's dubbed in English. IF it ever gets dubbed that is. A few Dragon Ball productions haven't been English dubbed you know.

@TheBigRedCheese: Aside from Super Saiyan 3 and Fusion, I didn't care much for the Majin Buu saga either. It was rushed, Majiin Buu wasn't nearly as good a villain as Cell, let alone Frieza. And Piccolo got shoved to the sidelines along with the other Dragon Ball characters.
