Pre-Crisis ( Fall of Liberty )

Uniforms/Armor:

Nathan is rarely seen without a uniform or a special jump suit. Mostly because his powers have been known to melt or shred normal fabrics upon contact.

His first and most common costume is his Aegis-V Suit.

The suit itself is light, flexible and extremely durable. It can handle extreme weather conditions and can withstand intense radiation and common ionic signatures. The suit is specially designed to morph with Nathan when his skin morphs, rendering his appearance a more "textured" look post-transformation giving most people the impression that his skin is actually a suit of armor.

His second most common attire is his Harpe-V Suit.

Like the Aegis-V suit the Harpe-V suit can withstand extreme radiation and temperatures. The main difference between this suit and the Aegis is that this suit is specially designed for space flight and extremely strenuous battles.

Being able to control and manipulate stellar energy, Nathan often creates a protective shield out of the energy, using his own skin as a surrogate for the energy to grow and transform into solid material.

The material itself is extremely dense and strong but is also extremely malleable on command. It can feel as tough and as rigid as star crust (which is 10 billion times stronger than steel) or can feel as soft as a feather. The problem with this ability however is that the harder and stronger Nathan makes his skin, the harder it is to move and even transform back to normal. Nathan has only pushed this ability to it's limit once and the price he payed was being entombed in his own skin for 5 years without being able to so much as blink. How he stayed alive during this time without food or water remains a mystery.

Other than the dexterity of the skin, the only thing that should be mentioned about this particular armor is the large circular diving pattern that is usually seen (but is not limited to) on Nathan's chest. Being almost powerless within the hard unbreakable cocoon, Nathan usually creates a doorway within the suit which acts as a flux catalyst for his concussive powers. In other words this catalyst is used as a passageway to send out and receive energy.

He uses it to "attack" enemies with sheer ample energy as well as nourish himself when deprived of stellar energy. It is notably the suits biggest weakness as well as it's greatest strength.

Post-Crisis

Lux Invictus is an all new being with an all new style. After pushing his abilities to their breaking point during the events of Liberty Island, Lux Invictus is now trapped in his armored form and is unable to transform back to his human self. He has no "special suit" or no "special armor" simply because he no longer needs one.
