That is so vague that it is nearly impossible to guess. I don't even have a clue.

This.

Higgin's isn't really giving anything to go by, so we aren't in a great position to speculate.

Can we leave the childish "you know nothing about Dick Grayson" stuff. It just reminds me of the forum negativity so rampant with fans. Everyone's argument pretty much boils down to "He's Nightwing because he's Nightwing". If there were internet forums in the 80s people would've screamed bloody murder at the thought of anyone else being Robin and Dick being someone else. I think people get too quickly attached. Nightwing is as important as Robin. I think Dick Grayson deserves better. He doesn't even have an HQ, or equipment. Why not give him Damian as a side-kick at least as the dynamic worked so well. Having this 21 year old who throws his uniform on the floor doesn't feel like a real, living, breathing vigilante.

You're right, Dick does deserve better, but there is absolutely nothing stopping DC from improving him in his current role as Nightwing. DC could quite easily make him on par with Bruce in terms of HQ and equipment but they don't simply because (and this has been discussed many times) they don't want a character who will take the limelight away from Bruce.

I wasn't being hyperbolic there this is actually pretty close to the dictionary definition of regression, if anything I'd say Tim needs to drop the Red Robin title and find his own thing like Dick did to actually fully step into adulthood The Red Robin mantle is a crutch at this point.

It worked amazingly in the Red Robin solo series directly following Bruce's death; but now that Tim's origin's have been rehashed the continued use of the Red Robin mantel feels as if the character has not moved on at all. He has not shed the identity he used when he was a mere sidekick.

As for Dick taking up Red Robin and leaving Nightwing: No. Dick is Nightwing. His personality is lost behind the cowl of Batman, and he should not have to fall back to an identity created in a non-canon elseworld story to fully accept his relationship to Batman and his past as Robin. Nightwing has become an integral part of the Batman mythos. Not to mention it fits Dick perfectly: he uses the training taught to him by Batman, yet his name is adopted from a "lighter" hero's world (Krypton). It shows that Dick is more social and engrossed with others in the DC Universe than his mentor is.

Red Robin was a success at that point in time for Tim as it was actually a progression of the character, he went out and tried to make his own identity without fully ditching the whole Robin thing.

At the end of the day putting Dick in a Robin suit again, regardless of how independent the role is, will be a step backwards simply because when people think of Robin they think of a sidekick and assistant to Batman. For a lot of people a 'Robin' book would simply seem like Bruce letting his sidekick off the leash for a bit to run around on his own before ultimately running back to Batman for help when the going gets tough.

Neil Patrick Harris probably the best of the bunch, he actually makes Nightwing sound like a man and not like some teenager (as in TNBA).

When I'm reading I don't use his voice in my mind though, I can't actually remember who's voice I use only that its some actor.

Maybe this time they'll get someone who can actually do the art for a run of issues. Don't get me wrong, I love Barrows' work, but I don't like how he'd only actually draw anything for say 1 issue out of every 3 (aside from the odd page here and there). Yes his work is great but I really don't see why he couldn't feature in more issues, David Finch was able to combine writing and artwork duties (granted his writing sucked) and still managed to get all the artwork done for each issue whilst spending time on writing duties and said artwork is arguably the best in the New 52 (certainly for Bat-titles). A similar thing can be said of Tony Daniel. I just don't get why Barrows only contributed so intermittently, its made the series quite inconsistent when it comes to artwork because no artists will draw the characters in the exact same way and the standards of the work are way to changeable.

I didn't like how she fought in this issue. She was never about weapons before, now she's about weapons to the max. Lady Shiva should BE the only weapon she ever needs.

This.

For all the buildup about the battle between Nightwing and Shiva I have to say I was thoroughly disappointed. Shiva runs around saying "bitch I'm better than you" for most of the fight whilst I'm sat there thinking "Of course you're beating him, you're using loads of weapons in conjunction with your natural skills". I want to see the two of them fight without any weapons being involved, with the gear Shiva was packing in the last issue Dick had no choice but to go on the back-foot, else he would've been killed or seriously injured. I get the feeling that if you made both of them fight hand to hand with no weapons or gadgets it'd be more even than most people think.

i think tim lost the most out of this new 52 he lost his back story of doing the detective work and learning batmans identity, then always trying to be better then dick and not make the same mistakes as jason.

Even though Tim was a 'Mary Sue' pre flashpoint he was likeable enough, now he's even more of a 'Mary Sue' and an unlikeable cocky one at that.

@LuigiBat: Dick did look taller but Jason to me steel looks bigger/bulkier.

Well he's going to look more 'buff' and bulky if they've made him shorter. Take two guys who work out (same body fat % for arguments sake), one is 5"5 and the other is 6"2, the shorter guy likely weighs less but will look like he has far more muscular mass than the tall guy. Relating this back to comics, Dick would be the taller guy in the aforementioned scenario (going by what I'v seen).

A lot of the stats regarding height and weight seem to be for pre-Flashpoint.

If you look at the image from B&R (can't remember the issue exactly but it was the one where the whole 'Battle of the Robins' was tied up), where Dick, Jason, Tim and Damian are alll together it clearly shows Dick as being taller than Jason. Pre-Flashpoint Jason was 6"0 and 225lbs, so in other words he was both taller and a heck of a lot more bulky. So now we have a situation whereby either Dick has gotten taller (more like Bruce's height now) and bulkier, or Jason has shrunk down a fair amount in terms of height and weight.
