Sooo.. Back when I saw issue one, Hulk had a nice beard going on with sum long flowing hair & now he shaved it all off & is on permanent Vacation?! Sumone shood totally fill me in on what I've missed here.. -_-
Ok, in that first panel of the redhead & blonde gentleman taking a stroll, now correct me if I'm wrong but is that a Gundam easter egg floating in the background? http://gundam.wikia.com/wiki/MSM-07_Z'Gok
This issue (as with the previous nine issues that preceded it) never cease to entertain. I enjoyed the finale, however I did find the ending to be a bit rushed. The symbiote zoo animals were great. My 7 year old was loving this series & when he saw the Carnage Lion his eyes lit up. What a great feeling. Clayton Crain's art is just astounding. I'd rate this as a 4.5 (of 5) stars!
I thought the issue was very touching & somber. The twist about Benjamin's condition was also interesting, but very tragic. Also, does anyone know how many issues after this one is Hickman going to be writing?
Doesn't Franklin have the powers of an Omnipotent god? I always assumed that with his powers he could halt the alternate timeline rule for the 616. However, we haven't seen the future yet, have we? 616 could be or always has been the "divergent timeline."
@WarMachineMarkV: Based on your response about X-Sanction, at the end of issue 4 did you not feel like this story was a bit "tacked on"? I kinda felt as if Marvel left me high & dry at the end of this limited series.. The ending didn't reveal or set up anything that we already didn't know. & I thought this was supposed to be the year of the EX-Men.. or was that 2011?
@royale_with_cheese:I believe they brought the vision back for future use now that Wanda Maximoff (Scarlet Witch) is back & they have quite a few issues to sort through. Possibly a future ongoing title with one another. Simon Williams (Wonder Man)'s fate has been left ambiguous at the end of the Avengers Annual issue. The future is full of possibilites!
Not to split hairs (I hardly ever do..) but wat is with the art? I wood think the art to be held to a higher standard for a tie-in to an important event like AvX.. Also, as Sexual Lobster said, what is going on? lol
At first I had a very high opinion of the show. However, as the show continues, I notice that almost every episode is virtually the same. The lost criminal does something to gain the attention of the main characters, then they go on the hunt. Bringing each one in at the end of every episode. Between the mystery & the flashbacks, there's a not so healthy amount of repetition in this series & I hope they do something soon to change the status quo or else the show might begin to lose viewers.. This is just my opinion thought.
Is it just me or does the whole idea of BURNING HUMAN BODIES, ON THE FARM, DURING THE DAY is just CRAZY?! Personally, the first thing that came to mind when they mentioned the idea of burning them was ATTACK!! With the potential plot of other survivors being in the area, the smoke created from the fire alone would be enough to attract any desperate survivors. Now the smell of burning flesh might be enough to attract a roaming horde, if not other animals. They've made a tactical error & I believe we'll be seeing the end of the farm soon enough. Anyone else agree?
