While I agree that the kiss makes sense, its reasons make me feel a bit dubious about a true relationship between Superman and Wonder Woman.

They basically both felt lonely and sought companionship in each other, but truly those two characters are so different, wonder if they can make a functional couple. I'd see them more as friends with the occasional benefit than anything else.

Besides, the way Diana just decided to distance herself from Steve Trevor, by telling him she would ask for another to serve as liaison with the Justice League in his place confirms that she still care a lot a bout him since she's willing to let another person take the risks that come with the position in his place. This seems to indicate that she care more for his well being than for that of another person. On the other hand, as Steve points out himself, he is often in danger regardless of his association with the League, so it's not like not working with them will protect him. Knowing this, it feels more like Wondy doesn't want to feel guilty should he be killed by one of the justice League's enemies.

I just hope they don't mess it up. I've never liked this pairing, but if DC feels they have to do it, at least, I hope they do it right. Superman and Wonderwoman haven't shown any kind of romantic attraction to one another, so I feel that the relationship comes a bit out of nowhere, like Storm's and Black Panther's. I really hope DC handle this better than Marvel did.

Until now, both characters had love interests who were part of their respective supporting casts, and didn't much importance outside their relationship with the superheroes. If Supes and WW becomes an item, it might be interesting to see how their writers will handle the relationship, how important said relationship will be for eah character and how it will impact their solo titles if it does. Will they see each other outside of their time in the League? Where will they go for a romantic diner? What will be the place of Clark Kent in the relationship? How will Steve Trevor react? I'm curious to see answers to all of these questions and more.

I really like Fantomex, in fact he's my favorite X-Force character, and i'd really like him to return, but I think Evan probably needs to make his own choices and evolve without Fantomex's influence for a while, if only to vindicate Fantomex's belief that the education and values he gave the kid will lead him toward goodness in spite of his genes. Fantomex would merely have too much direct influence over Evan's choices, I think. Jean-Philippe shouldn't get involved with Genesis' decision, but it would be nice if he came back to deal with the consequences, good or bad.

I kinda like the idea of Spidey mentoring a young superhuman, that's a good way to show the character maturing, but in the facts, I really don't like the execution so far. I know it's only been one issue, but Alpha is a really unpleasant character, and Peter doesn't really seem to know what he's doing at all, and spends all his time being scolded by Reed Ridchards, as if he was the sidekick.

I really, really dislkie the notion that Tim never was Robin, especially since he was my favorite Robin.

I have to say I'm curious about this, but I am not sure that it is possible to separate Ernie from Lady Death without changing the very nature of the character. After all his motto was: "All for love".

Without this and his omnicidl quest for "Megadeath", will it still be Evil Ernie?

I've been less than impressed with Voodoo so ar, both the series and the character. The series took far too long before offering any kind of info on the main character, wether it was her identity, her goals, her situation or why people should care about what the heck she was doing, or what was happening to her. Voodoo was an unknown and mysterious character fighting mysterious and unknown opponents to accomplish mysterious goals, for mysterious masters, for unknown reasons. In these conditions, I just couldn't bring myself to care about the protagonist or the story. And when finally they begin to shed some light and Voodoo begins to get interesting, she goes from being the protagonist to being the antagonist, while Priscilla Kitaen becomes the new protagonist, about which pretty much nothing is known, and who for the moment is as uninteresting as her clone was for the first part of the series. I don't ask for much, just a little backstory and/or a reason to actually care about the character I'm reading about and what they're doing/what is happening to them.

On the bright side, i have to say that the art is gorgeous. This and the hope of seeing some traces of the Wildstorm character I liked are the only things keeping me checking out this series at this point

I'm not sure how to feel about the new amazon history. I like that they're closer to the mythological amazons, it makes them more familiar, somehow. I always found the portrayal of the DC amazons as immortal paragons of peace and virtue to be strange. On the other hand, making them basically a civilization of black widows is creepy as hell, and kinda ridiculous. A

Like others have mentioned earlier, it makes no sense that Diana would not know about her own people's customs. Is it normal for young amazon women not to know where babies come from? Also, they only go on raids to find men thrice a century? How can they maintain their population with just that? And how has nobody noticed that every 30 years or so, thousands of men disappear at sea in a relatively short time period?

I prefered Monet's portrayal in Generation X. I love X-factor, but Monet's portrayal in this comic is rather disappointing. She barely feels like a protagonist.
