So X-Factor is ending - bummer. On the upside, I now have a new spot in my subs to fill! I'm currently on Fatale, Hawkeye, Invincible, Saga, The Sixth Gun, and The Unwritten (plus Locke & Key and Chew in hardcovers), so you can tell I don't read many "normal" superhero books. It would be awesome if I could get one quick recommendation from each person.
PS - I don't mind getting trades to get caught up. I'm thinking about The Manhattan Projects, and Satellite Sam looks pretty cool, too.
I love X-factor to death, but when Leonard Kirk gave Polaris a new costume in issue 245, my instinctual reaction was "Nooooo!" - basically the same reaction I had to Ms. Marvel's costume switch. I've always preferred costumes that are simple, like Polaris, Scarlet Witch, the Fantastic Four, the original X-men, etc. I've mostly come around on Captain Marvel so I'm willing to be convinced on Polaris. What do you think of Lorna's new costume, and why does a superhero change outfits? Is it the artist's call?
(PS - Pip called Havok "Tron," and Alex knew he was right, so he goes back to his even worse old costume? Whuh?)
How the hell strong is Wonder Woman supposed to be, anyway? This is one of the reasons I can't stand DC: they make shit up every issue. We know approximately what Ms Marvel can do, but apparently Wonder Woman can throw down with Superman now?
EDIT: Yeah, I read her article and she's some sort of semi-goddess or something? BS. I hate DC.
@danhimself: That's true, but Hulk is basically a pissed-off giant with Downs syndrome and doesn't have laser eyebeams. I still believe Cap would win, though, because Cyke is a little bitch who can't ever seem to rise to his own potential and Cap is freakin Cap.
