I recommend anything by Rob Crumb, all his black and white stuff is awesome, he is one of a kind. also some other black and white comics worthy of mention, Prison Pit, By Bizarre Hands (dark horse release, Dean Rohrer so cool....) Dorohedoro, Uzumaki, Dead in the West and The Drifting Classroom.
