I'm moving in August. Wonder how many longboxes I'll get up the stairs before my back gives out?

Even though Morrison's run was confusing I kept on buying it. I guess this was the reason why. Time to go back through some long boxes.

I've been a fan of the Boys for a long time. Due to the price increase I stopped buying it though.

The thing I like most about Lemire is his choice to use rural settings. What essentially should be a boring location like a farm or small town becomes a great under utilized back drop. So many of my favorite comics are set in New York or a make believe city. But I've never been to New York. Where I have been is western Kentucky and southern Indiana most of my life. Jeff Lemire is a good change of pace.

I love any comic that is good. Mainstream or "indie", I dont put to much stock in it. Just last night I ordered the Complete Essex County Tales and Locke & Key: Head Games.

Didnt read Lost Days. I loved Under the Hood and the movie though. Over all I'm a Winick fan. His work on JL: Generation Lost has been the cat's meow.

From what I understand its going to be a stand alone graphic novel like Superman: Earth One. It wont be canon because it's set in a different universe. And as far as it being an ongoing well its hard to say. The Earth One line is supposed to be strictly graphic novels, but if sales are good I'm sure a sequel will follow. The fellow above us here says Shane Davis said it'll be out in a year. However I thought Gary Frank was on pencils so I dont know about any of that.
