Oh Hulk! Am I the only one who heard "Vacation" by the GoGo's playing in their heard while looking at this?
I dont read Jason Aaron's Hulk (mostly due to price), but I was actually thinking about picking up this point one issue...until I saw it was still $3.99.
I'm sure I'll buy the #0 issues for all my favorite titles as long as they are at least still written by the same writer. This means we would actually get to see Buddy Baker being a superhero before his life went to hell. I wonder if they'll do one for Batwoman, seeing as how her series already had a #0 before the new 52?
Man, Is Psylocke damaged goods at this point or what? Betsy you're a wreck. Loved the brief Evan cameo. Need to read Wolverine and the X-men and see what he's up to. So glad to see this book return to its former glory after last arc. Phil Noto was a nice treat. Wish he could stick around.
I totally dig Diana's warrior get up. That's more along the lines of how I've always thought she should look. The suspense in this title is really good and there are so many genuinely frightening images. I loved how Hell was made out of the dead. That horse and rider muscle amalgamation was sick! One more thing I think Hermes is my favorite character in this series.
The only issue I take with the arc crossing different titles is it makes it hard to know where to place it while organizing my collection. I do like the fact that even though this runs across three different series we get the same artist every issue. And it's Marco Checchetto. Awesome!
I really loved the Old Gotham flashback sequences. It was Higgins involvement with the "Gates Of Gotham" miniseries that led me to picking up Nightwing in the first place. I screwed up and read this before Batman too.
I really dont mind paying the $3.99 when I'm getting 30 pages of story and a back up with Rafael Albuquerque art. Another killer issue, but then again did you expect anything less?
