Uggh, this is really disappointing. Marvel is losing all of it's diversity. Pretty soon it'll just all be Avengers and X-team books.
Honestly for x-books new mutants has to go because its floundering to have a purpose just like X-men adjective less, and Astonishing X-men
Gen hope only survives because its need for 2012
Most of the Avengers titles are boring
Heck ditch Daken and keep X-23, daken is just slutting around while X-23 is going to be in the venom event(which is suppose to provide some chunk of development for her), avengers academy and so on
I totally agree about the X-Books. New Mutants, Adjectiveless and Astonishing are all completely derivative. They have no unique voice. If X-Factor gets canceled before them I'm gonna lose it.
Avengers Academy is the only interesting Avengers book, Bendis doesn't even try on his books. And Daken sucks. I can't imagine his title lasting much longer If X-23's got canceled.
Of course at the exact same time everyone has forgotten about Thor, Osborn has Thor's clone Ragnarok in his possession in New Avengers, and he knows exactly what it is.
I'm sure it will be explained away by saying the two books occur at different times, but Fear Itself was an Avengers event, and New Avengers is one of the flagship Avenger books, they could at least try to make an understandable timeline between the two.
He could start by not calling his team the "Extinction team". Seriously, how is that a good idea? You have a team full of former supervillains, including a former mutant supremacist, and you call your team the "Extinction team"?
I don't care who you sided with, that is incredibly stupid. If his goal is to win the public's heart, he is off to a bad start.
