It would have been interesting to see the results of this poll prior to the Guardians of the Galaxy film and prior to the Bendis reboot. I think it would have been a no contest for Batman.

Using a "magnifying glass" app on my iPhone against a hard copy of this issue and word bubble in question, I can't make out what's said. From where I'm sitting it seems we will need to speculate for now!

I'm looking forward to this issue. It's nice to see Dale Keown doing interiors again. We need more of that!

I second the post re: wish Ben Templesmith had of finished out Ten Grand. For that matter I wish he and Warren Ellis had of delivered more Fell.

To the topic at hand, I'm in for Gotham by Midnight!

The Inhumans have a ton of potential. If Marvel were smart they would use Paul Jenkins and Jae Lee's Marvel Knights maxiseries as the source material. Folks - if you missed that run, find the trade. It is well worth your dollars and is a compelling story with amazing early-ish work by Lee. Gregg conveniently supplied the cover image for the first issue with this news post.

For me it's always a toss up between Frank Miller, Greg Capullo, and Jim Lee. Today I am going to put my vote in for Greg Capullo.
