The "banter" feels kinda forced. Definitely giving this a go, though. Really enjoyed most of Fraction/Aja's run. Art looks fantastic.

It's missing Rogue & Magneto! That's a big one. Pretty crazy info graphic though.

Great article. I disagreed about Kraven in your previous article, but especially for a first film I think he's a bad choice. Spidey needs to be established before a guy like Kraven comes after him.

I 100,000,000% agree about having an opening scene (akin to the awesome bank robbery scene in Dark Knight) where Spidey just has a solid 8-10 minute fight. Get the audience into it quickly, especially, if they're forgoing the origin, they'll have the time. Someone like Shocker would be perfect!

AHHHHHHH that looks dark and awesome!

D'Onofrio as Fisk is stellar, stellar casting. Trailer sells me on Charlie Cox too!

There is no such thing as too much articulation on an action figure

If you want a seamless sculpt, buy a statue

Thisthisthisthis.

I'm a huge Marvel Legends guy. The sculpts on the Marvel Selects look nice but they're too big and you can't do any interesting poses with their limited articulation.

Always like the toy reviews, Tony.

Wow! I thought it was one of the better episodes.

Gonna spoiler block this whole part, but I REALLY like how the item Peggy retrieves can lead to bigger things in the MCU!

I may be reading WAY too far into this, but: Steve's blood. Let's think about what that whole thing could imply. First off, Howard Stark has a portion of the Super Soldier Serum in his possession. So does the government. Did anyone else think this could lead to A) his murder (by way of apparently-accidental death) by the Winter Soldier? Russia was a player in this episode, after all. And we saw the mysterious circumstances surrounding Howard's death in Cap 2. B) Could Howard Stark have played a role in the creation of the Hulk? This could lead to some plot points in Age of Ultron, and maybe one of the reasons we see the Hulk duking it out with the Hulkbuster!

I was a little confused about why they were doing this show (although I love Atwell and the character, as well as the show) but the timing a short time before Age of Ultron may just clear that up for me.

@k4tzm4n: Grim Hunt yes, Last Hunt no. The Gauntlet featured some of my favorite single issue stories ever (I'm looking at you, Joe Casey's Rhino issue), but Kraven has just never connected with me. You make a good case here, but I can't say it's a book I'd read.

Ugh, such a boring character! Always hated the cartoons and issues he was in as a kid. Gotta disagree on this one, Man of Katz.

it's all been a bunch of faux-psychological babble and gobbledygook and being "LOL RANDOM." Between this and Bucky Barnes I'm pretty sure Kot is a bad writer.

Yes to all. I thought highly of Kot based on whatever his co-writing part was of the last Secret Avengers run. That was one of my favorite runs ever, so I was excited to see what he'd do on his own. Not. Impressed.

Michael Walsh art is a beaut, though.
