I thought this was a good idea until someone mentioned that the hypocrisy is what makes the analogy work. The mutants aren't hated for their powers, but because of their genes, and perhaps because humanity is afraid of being genetically ussurped. Real racist actions are often committed in the name of 'protecting race', this is a good parallel. Just think of the way people react to statistics about what races are growing the most in America, there are some truly scary responses. It should be addressed though. Also I think it would be cool if 'mutant allies' were allowed in the X-Men superteam, to show the public how little a difference there really is.

Once sonic batarangs were mentioned, Grayson won this. They're something bat-folk commonly have on them, and they would give Nightwibg the advantage easy. It would be an almost equal fight with daredevil gaining ground until Dick figures out his blindness, which he would in time.

Man, it's kinda disconcerting how squeamish or homophobic everyone got over this. Yea it's a silly thread, but the reactions are still leaving a bad taste in my mouth.

Anyway, if I were to take this seriously, i'd say cap wins but just barely because although batman is a very skillful hand to hand fighter, he does rely far more than cap on gadgets and stealth. The only thing is that perhaps his more esoteric fighting style would be too complex for cap to keep up, but I think cap is just as well trained there, just more rigidly.

I fail to see this having relevance if Superman is bloodlusted. Let's say he isn't, he still beats joker with the setup you have. The only way i can see Joker beating Superman making some large scheme that involves manipulating others and LOTS of pre-planning. He could be the man behind a huge event that brings superman down, but he would never, ever win in a straight up fight.

It seems like this is really a "how can i manage to make Joker win this fight' thread, not a real matchup. And if superman is without his morals, he wins no matter what. Like someone else said, the fight would be over before scarecrow could unleash gas. With his morals, i'd imagine he'd still be able to retreat, get the correct anti-gas gear and return.

Hellboy is the harbinger of the apocalypse and trained to deal with everything from ancient technological golems to vampires. He's killed various dragons and other giant creatures throughout his career. He's smart and has an indestructible right hand he can use as a weapon when stripped of his guns. Plus, mignola loves ape-like beasts so hellboy has actually fought many King-Kong-esque creatures in his time. King Kong is just a big ape.

So Hellboy.

Now I'm actually completely unsure who i think would win, but could you give reasoning? To me Captain Cold seems far more frail, although he is more mobile (still not a young man).

Ok, so i just found an old thread of this, and most say Cold because of his good aim and his 'absolute zero' temperature blast. But they ignore the unanswered question of how much Freezes suit would resist his blast, and they ignore the bazooka size of Freeze's weapon. after consideration i will say that Cold probably wins, but it's closer than people are giving credit for.

Location: city street, neither Gotham or Central City.

Gear: Standard, meaning both have freeze guns, and Mr.Freeze has his suit which keeps his body temperature low, and also gives him superstrength (while somewhat restricting his movement). I'm unsure if Captain Cold's costume has any special properties. Freeze's gun is large and usually wielded with two hands, while Captain Cold's is more of a pistol.

Really, i'd love to see them form a team together, ha. The Wonders perhaps? Anyway, this is about them fighting. It'd certainly be entertaining to see.

As of Batman #10, a fair amount of them were killed, but it's said their reach is far greater than that one group. Plus there's all the stuff with Thomas Wayne Jr, i'll just call him Owlman since that's who he is, even if he hasn't been named in-comic yet.

1.Will Owlman keep connected to the rest of the court if he survives issue #11, or will he ditch them to focus on his 'revenge'?

2. Will this cabal stay in the comics? How will it interact with high-class characters that already exist like Penguin?
