Maria Mendoza, Stan Lee's Wonder Woman, is Peruvian :D Quite cliche, but it's still cool to see a Peruvian character in the American comics.
In the new 52, several comics took place in Peru like Justice League Dark, Justice League International, etc. Sadly in the imaginary, Peru (and Latin America) is still depicted as a magical and timeless place (like El Dorado) and not like a real and tangible culture.
