A brief guided finger over the side of the pistol turned it back into the whip handle ideal for the task. A node near the barrel in the current configuration was flipped down to set the instrument to an electrical charge. A brief moment later and the barrel sparked with a current the cored turning a vibrant blue. The thought of the birthday sounding cube getting a brief laugh from the blonde. "Space is filled with empty space." She remarked heading the opposite direction after returning the salute.

Entering one of the corridors she turned her hand to open a small projected hologram of the area. The previously obtained map telling her who to look out for in the near by room. Previously established as just machines malfunctioning the ones in the current area weren't needing a necessarily lethal address. Observing the machines helped try and figure out the voltage needed to cripple them as opposed to kill. A flick of the wrist snapped the cord against the temple of the machine tampering with hardware incorrectly. One of the good machines moving to make repairs to the ship's panel.

The following few minutes consisted of similar actives the whip directing enemies into each other or simply cracking against them. A few had attacked singing her uniform in a few places but largely ineffectual for now. The whip further came into play as she used it to climb the various levels of the ship. Pulled from panel to panel or a walkway to another. Her heels allowing her to cling to ceilings or walls as needed to assist in traversal. A hostile bot worked in the elevator shaft snapping cords and pulling out the energy through a small nozzle on it's finger.

Coiling around the leg of the machine forced it to fall from where it stood. A rather loud thud echoed through the chamber as it smashed against the elevator's roof. It rolled over to get to his feet and then jumped at the blonde, a duck and it rushed over her head. A cracking sound came from the creature as it struck the wall, a quick turn and the nozzle on it's finger fired her way. Small beam of light burning a hole in the wall the pilot just barely having moved in time. Her whip snaked around the hand of the creature as she briefly moved into a slide to once again be behind the machine. Pulling on the whip brought the hand against the machine's brow with a forceful slap. Turning her hand and briefly flicking the trigger sent a current through the cord and into the machine's hand. The nozzle weapon hissed briefly before the discharge burning a hole through the skull of the machine.

Using her whip to reach the upper level she peeked over the ledge to find a series of floating brain things and a variety of aliens in reassembled armor and scrap. They didn't mind the noise considering the sounds always going on in the ships. It was clear though they also wanted the ship for themselves. It was around then her earpiece beeped briefly before her crew mate spoke up. "That's actually great, I'm going to need some additional time myself found some unfriends. I do see a kiosk however for defensive systems. I should be able to back you up in just a moment. Hey how big is the brain thing? Do you mean like yours or like literally big?"

"Every ship needs a crew good as we might be can't count on two people to fix an entire ship." She remarked skimming over the map she had and its status of the ship. The current automaton beside them looking apart of the pilot staff at a further observation of files on the report. Taking note the blonde for a moment found herself lost within observation. Whatever the bio machine was up to Viv intended to learn herself her eyes studious of every motion and minor alterations so that she could hopefully come to master the ship she wanted to call her own.

"Sorry. Right so if I get to the bridge can you get to the AI core?" Viv inquired gesturing to the points on the ship. The small map seemed to indicate a lot of hostile in either direction the two would likely need to go. A series of scavengers and disfunctional biomachines were amongst the other biomechanical crew. "Don't want to make you do something harmful but I do want to get this ship operational and that only comes with a process hard to do alone. We coordinate the reboot, hopefully keep combat to a minimal?"

The weapon of choice alluded Viv having never been on the particular blue rock it'd come from from and not being one to commit weapons to memory like she did space craft and vehicles. She did recognize the weapon as being from a relatively older make, a style of gun from what usually would be an age before interstellar travel. The thumbs up having briefly been returned the machines way before the rather violent take down of a squatter in the alien ship. A question was raised as the blonde crouched to pass under the opening port the alien had come from. Electric blue eyes setting on another working diligently on a panel.

"Good observation Astra, at least that guy is apart of the crew." She tried to compare it to the one she'd killed distinguishing a glowing red singular eye. "Shiny eye is friend, no shine no help. What do you think we should do though? Would you be able to salvage their network?" Her lithe figure stopping beside the biomachine at work and looking at the panel letting off sparks and with knobs set off to the side.

"No pressure of course, I'm just good with hardware not so much software. I can't fix them, I also don't want to hurt the ship though if possible." Plugging a cord into the panel the biomachine beside her glanced her way then continued it's work.

"Where you from by the way?" She asked as her datapad downloaded a map for them. The complex map consisting of a series of red and green dots depicting friend or foe tags. Once complete Viv moved to share the information if needed. Her enthusiasm over ships leading her to playfully pump into the machine with a nudge of the shoulder.

The whip found itself latching onto various objects from space ships and aircraft traversing the area to walkways. From light fixtures to building sides the various connections used to help stay in motion while the small pop from thrusters helped navigate. The automaton was faster and Viv found herself after a spiral landing beside the machine. Granted maybe she could of been a little faster but the various acrobatic motions appealed to her more. Wasn't quite a dog fight or aerial combat amongst the stars but still.

"I would say the bridge first. Between the two of us we should be able to get it booted up and know where the various raiders have taken refuge. I would imagine they probably have traps around the area maybe weapons." Cobalt eyes looked up the chain leading into the ship. "You've a weapon right?" Viv briefly surprised she cared as much as she did about the machines safety. Maybe it was just the lack of teammates and drinking buddies from her current livelihood but the thought of the robot being harmed got to her.

Viv would ask this however as she began to climb the chain. Maglocks within her boots helped adhere to the surface assisting in the ascension. Flight may have been easier to make use of Viv didn't like the idea of that though. Oils and gasses that might have spilled onto the chain, the way the metal was worn down the pilot didn't like it. Destruction of the ship bothered her the idea of putting it at risk clawed under her skin. This ship she planned to make hers, and with that came a love and care she had to put into the thing.

As she finally after a few minutes entered the opening the anchoring chain came from her eyes fell upon an a four legged insectoid creature. Its hands pulled at a wall panel desperate to try and free the piece of metal for unknown reasons. What was known however was that it wasn't damaged beneath the surface Viv could tell that much and that was all she needed. The pistol raised and with a hiss the whip shot through the skull of the hoarder. A tug backwards then flinging the corpse off her ship.

Again the machine paid for things with haste and generated currency and done before Viv could consider options or study how the machine did it. Which was both frustrating yet endearing in a way for sake of being good company though she kept her questioning short. "Know I've money to right? Shouldn't you watch how much you spend to?" Of course the question came as well with the showing of a card with a similar design. Her eyes to caught up in looking the two over to have noticed her hand continuing to be held for a time.

"Lance of the stars the Millennium Serene Enterprise...that probably sounded better in their language." The blonde remarked using the post card to find the ship and look it over. "Took a lot of damage fifty years ago, was largely abandoned and stripped thirty years ago. Says squatters have made it a home sense then, there's still a lot of parts in it and could likely be refurbished or salvaged if not for the current residents getting in the way." The merchant provided an in as well "thanks!"

With that the blonde had turned to meet the robot eyes her own dancing with enough electricity that they likely looked like a pair of blue suns. "Did you hear that? It's basically junk to them free if we can get to it." Tugging at Astra's hand the pilot moved to the railing and climbed over the side. "Want to come along?" The inquiry made as she undid the pistol at her side a whip of energy cracking from the weapon and lighting up with energy. There were probably safer ways to the anchor then jumping and whip swinging. The idea of a free ship she didn't know however was to good for Viv.

"Course I am, I just uh wasn't expecting that kind of business" that was more something she considered explored alone and in some marginally questionable alien bar where you'd be forgotten in a day or two. The intricacies of the particular encounter however was easily pushed aside though by a held hand and the change of scenery to looking over an alien crittter. That much to the human's distaste was found to still be alive.

It wiggles and the vendor makes a protest. The question then falls on the blonde much to her annoyance. She just wanted to get away from a space pimp now she had a squid in her face a vendor at her back and a walking ATM at her side. "Uh not really I don't eat live things..."

"Then put it back."

Pulling her card from a pouch on her leg she slid it over to the vendor. "I'll take it anyway." A transaction was made and she gestured for Astra to follow squid thing in hand. She moved to an aquarium like stand. A mix of crystal blue water and various fish.

There was one thing that looked more like a lizard though it's head that of a three eyed shark. An almost humanoid thing hugged the walls more akin to a starfish. The one that captured her attention though was a six finned fish with air recycled into creating a sort of jet stream from its rear end letting it race around the tank and spin like a fightership doing a barrel roll. "You were supposed to eat the squid not look to drop it into my tank. That's gona require a trade or paying me" the aquarium owner remarked. The aquatic alien vendor a thing blinking vertically in rapid succession and whenever he spoke the saliva in his mouth seemed to bubble with carbonation.

Electric blue eyes blinked briefly, surprised by the sudden displayed trait. Sure there was everything seemingly possible in the cosmos but still a money generating ability was a rather intriguing one. What encouraged building such a feature into a machine let alone one that seemed to be wandering on it's own. Was there a limit to such technology? Or was it just a wealthy creator making a wire transfer to meet the machines request in some strange way? Viv liked studying ships and vehicles but she would be lying if she said that device didn't manage to garnish some of her attention.

Information is shared and an alien counts his money in a rather amusing moment to the blonde though she tried to keep her mouth shut to not laugh to much at what she found to be charming. "By all means feel free to try and learn everything. It's experiencing it however that makes things worth living for though. If it helps think of a library, what good is such a place without a reader?" The elevator dinged and the alien chirped a thank you as the pilot stepped off the platform.

"You there sir automata! I see you've a rather interesting friend do you need attachments? Perhaps she's not your type should I find you a different friend?" The alien pimp and parts seller bringing up a data pad and scrolling through those he knew.

Viv looked at the guy with five eyes and flashy neon clothes in annoyance. "Just had to find one of them didn't I?" She did her best to try and hide embarrassment by such businessmen. "Hey do you eat? There's a uh Suborian squid being sold over there might be worth trying." She wasn't sure she trusted the quizine of a yellow toad person or the leathery looking squid thing with rainbow colored eyes to be good food. Was better then being around this part of the district with it's pimp though.

"Astra, nice. Right then let's go see if we can find you that info dump. I myself was instructed to acquire a ship to be more accessible to various military contractors." Currently they shipped her off on various spacecraft instead. "Won't lie though the fact I don't know that one makes me far more curious in it's cost." It seemed already well established what the machine was here for but she gave room to respond all the same. Conversation something that could at times be hard to come by.

Her feat would take her to an elevator a space that seemed thrice the size inside as it looked outside. A small shop was in the corner of the elevator where a quad armed flat faced alien stared at the two new occupants. It's head tilted until almost upside down and clicking sounds escaped it's weird lip of a slit. Then rummaging through it's work station it removed a data pad detailing the history of it's people. Three of its hands, each with seven fingers tried to shove the pad the machines way. The remaining hand stretched out as if asking for payment. It couldn't really tell what it had to try and sell the pilot it thought it had something to try and pawn off to the machine though.

"I've heard of these guys. Have a sight that lets them semi see what someone wants. Often use that to try and increase their sales numbers. A friend told me about them when she went on her honeymoon with a soldier. Made for an awkward elevator ride."

"Maybe it would be better to say I look forward to finding the day when there's that ship I don't know. Then to the days where I know them all. When the thrill of understanding something new is gone what's a girl to do?" It sounded not unlike having a machine that fixed itself, which from a design standpoint was probably superior. To her though it meant the loss of the symbiotic like relationship ship between machine and owner.

"When I want to know something I want to know it intimately, inside an out. Like that ship right there, the Zilypuff most don't know this cause it's almost a pointless feature. The spot is really out of most humanoid reach and the size of the compartment is just weird. However for the original smuggling race that made it and their quad elbowed arms it was ideal for storing added contraband. Almost meaningless information but I love knowing it." Her enthusiasm for spacecraft all to apparent within her tone.

"I want to know that kind of thing for every ship out there. But the worst thing possible is knowing I've no more things like that to learn. Which probably sounds really irrational" she finished slightly trailing off "uh, I'm Vivoriana by the way, usually just go by Viv."
