No Joker in comics this year.....

I mean in the current timeline. Confidential & Cacophony take place in the past.

Okey, the Joker is missing, he wasn't at Arkham during B4tC, he didn't try to sabotoge the Robin War for the Cowl, we KNOW he didn't drown in that ambulance he was driving when Damien ran him off the bridge (that would be too stupid & lame a death), & the Penguin is planning to move up in Power. Joker always claimed to be #1 & I can't recall the Penguin ever trying to one-up him. So....I think he's skipped town, gone looking for Batman like Red Robin. This means that even if the real Batman doesn't return to the cowl, the Joker will still seek him out. (Paul Dini said Bruce ain't dead & I'm going with that).

Is this wishful thinking, or might I have something here?

Buh, I never did like Dick Greyson, but if Jason becomes the new totaly villanous Red Hood like others have suggested, then that should be fun.

If you gained superpowers, who would be your mentor?

I am a human leech, I cannot survive without parental figures to drain the life out of. I would just work for a villain I liked who could help me make money with my skills. At the same time, I hate having the same job for more than 1 year, so I'd wander.

Lex Luthor, Joker, Mr. Sinister, Poison Ivy, Mystique. I guess I could probably tollerate Cat Woman & would have a few interesting dinnertime discussions with Ra's Al Ghul & Magneto.

Should Bruce stay dead? No, he never died.

Paul Dini said Batman never died. He said Batman put his cowel on an already dead corpse of a fallen commrade. Plus no one stays dead, look at Jason Todd & remember it.

I'm obviously Joker-loyal. Since the Joker is missing, he's possibly left Gotham to find Bats, choosing his favorite action figure over his favorite sand box. He's a snake who's already shed his skin, he's a nomad who follows his food. If Bruce Wayne becomes somebody else & the Joker still seeks him out, then I'll welcome it, because then that news or rumor I heard about Jason Todd FINALLY becoming a proper villain & as the Red Hood no less, is something I've been wanting to see since 2005. Then I'd have Batman & a shiny new Bruce vs Joker series to enjoy ^.^
