The energy coursing through him upon his return was nourishment to his once weathered body. No doubt a side effect of the U-men program. Without the evolutionary genetics system Light had remained equally if not more powerful in his current form. From deep in space he could hear the cries of hope for mutantkind all across the country, just as Figara could. As her chosen herald she shared a portion of her power with him through what may potentially be the most powerful weapon in the universe.
Well beyond hyperspeed Light looked like a streaking comet in the night sky as he came barreling towards Earth's atmosphere. He declined in velocity immediately after breaking past the crust, knowing that the planet and its objects were not spread as far apart as the cosmos. In a matter of seconds the hero was on the scene of many a battles in Washington D.C. Time had revealed the name of the culprit behind this cacophony of chaotic discord as Charlemagne Lebeau. Light instinctively reached out with his inhuman senses, picking up a large focal point of malice and disdain. A blonde haired bison of a man with mad red eyes, super heated energy flowing from them, stood out in Light's visual perceptions. He flew down without hesitation, erecting an azure set of paladin like armor around his body. The coursing energy made the hard light armor shimmer as it absorbed the brunt of the laser beams force. "Hope just might," THe charismatic hero said, ready for the ensuing confrontation with the deadly orchestrator of destruction and possibly his orchestra.
