@gambler:

Moth`s an anti-Batman, who suffers from the lack of interest by various creators, editors and readers, to have his character developed more.

I don't understand how Deadshot is more essential to Batman's mythology than Joe Chill, and other characters on the list who are actually linked to both Bruce Wayne and Batman. Like @gambler, I'm also surprised Ras isn't on this list, nor is Talia, who was the mother of Batman's child and sidekick. ...And voters thought Hawkfire was more significant than Batwoman?? Interesting. I don't agree with the votes. Excuse me, now; I'm off to play Jenga with Wong and the Ancient One.

That is the thing about voting. If you don't vote you don't have a voice. You could have voted just one time and Ra's would have been on the list.

I wasn't aware of the vote until the results posted, which certainly isn't anyone's fault but my own. I have no objections, but I do have a voice in questioning the results. Just because a president is elected, doesn't negate people's ability to question the circumstances leading to his or her ascension.

You are right on that. I have four blogs going now with similar contests and new ones to come. Wolverine will start soon. Just check out the Give A Point games on the General Discussion page.

I know who Moth is. And I can respect wanting to give a deserving character some shine, but quintessential, I would argue not. I also understand its fan voted. Which is still surprising when you see the big names that were left off.

@gambler:

I`m sure you know, but I wanted to tell you why I wanted him to the top ten.

As for him being quintessential, it`s not really what I thought when I voted for him (I was the only one who actually wanted him on to the list. Someone voted once for him, rest were mine.). I thought that it would be really cool if he`d be in an animated series, in what his traditional version would be taken seriously (while still keeping the fun parts). Most of the characters who were voted for have been in every Batman-series already.
