A New Resolution

When times are good.
When times are good.
Last year things were going well for me and I decided to make an insane reading list for my New Years Resolution.   It was filled with comics classic novels and so on.  I was keeping up but then I lost my job in May.  This hurt a lot and I lost the extra time to read because I was looking for work.  I eventually got a new job in September but at far less than I was making.  This means now I am looking for work and working full time.  Add other things I'd rather not list here means I have little or no time to dedicate to my hobby and enjoyment of reading.  This leads me to My New Years Resolution for 2012.

I wanted to make this years resolution tough enough that it would be a challenge even if I get my career back on track but easy enough that it was possible to do if I don't get back on track.  I decided to read three comics a day and edit the pages on comicvine after I read them.  (If they are not already done.)  Those of you who know what I read know this is a bigger challenge than it may seem because I read a lot more older even Golden Age books than I do ones that are published now.  So, most of the time the comic doesn't have any more than the character on the cover to tell you who is in it.  The Golden Age are especially lacking in information.  Main characters and heroes are completely missing as well as there are still missing issues that need to be added.

So, there you have it 3 books a day.  It may sound easy but I know better in my life.  I through down the gauntlet and ask you too, to make a resolution.  Post it.  Keep yourself accountable.  I will try to keep you updated during the year.  If you care or are interested you can follow my progress.
