Does no-one check Marvel.com news?

I've only been checking on Newsarama, CBR, and on here.

11 is better than 10, IMO

No...just, no... I don't think we can be friends, good sir. xD

While I don't think that he's the worst out of all of them, I haven't watched any of the classic Who (except for part of one series) so I can't speak about 1-8, but as far as 9, 10, and 11 go I definitely think 10 is the best with 9 and 11 not far behind (in that order). It's not that I don't like 11, it's just that I really, REALLY dislike Moffat and so much of what he has brought to the show in the past 3 seasons has been just so...awful. Season 6 is the only season I actually enjoy of 11's. And season 7 was complete garbage, IMO. Only reason I'm continuing watching is because of 10 and Rose's return in the 50th Anniversary Special and Capaldi's new Doctor starting with the Christmas special this year. If Capaldi's first season is garbage (from a story standpoint, not because of how he acts) I might just stop.

@lcazt1996: It's no problem, I've made plenty of mismatched threads myself over the years. And I think the Doctor could just zap Luthor with his sonic screwdriver and make the suit not function. That's how OP it is :P

True. xD

The real doctor?, i think tennant is highly overrated

As long as you don't say Matt Smith is better, then I'm okay with this answer. Although I disagree, as long as you aren't trying to claim 11 is better than 10, we have no problems. xD

@lcazt1996: You seem new here. Welcome to Comicvine! When making battles on the battle forum, please read the battle forum rules about creating fair matches. Here's the link

The reason this is a mismatch is because if you give the Doctor even a few minutes of prep time, he can stomp any fight due to being able to go anywhere in space and time in the Tardis to get what he needs. Heck, he deactivated a bomb designed to destroy reality just by looking at the design and then shutting it down. That's way above anything Luthor can do for certain.

Ah see I was thinking more along the lines of "No prep time, doesn't have the TARDIS." I didn't make that clear. Kind of like the Battle of the Week matches. Both are just kind of there without preparing for one another.

But you're right, I hadn't considered all of his over-the-top feats that he has. I was thinking basically just the Doctor and his sonic vs. Luthor and his battle armor suit thing. Sorry!

i would really like to see Shazam written by Goeff Johns.

I don't really know but as long as it would have an awesome creative team

Geoff Johns and Gary Frank doing Shazam! as an ongoing is something I'd be totally on-board for. Since now he's only writing one ongoing series.

While I definitely do believe that the Doctor would win, I don't think it'd be as much of a blow away as the current results imply... xD

QUESTION!

You mean THE Question? Like the character?

Hmmm.. well Cyborg, Shazam, MM and Flash/Green Lantern obviously but I'll always hope that they revive JLI and make a Batman/Wonder Woman book. Other books that I'd be excited for but might not actually get would be Red Robin, Booster Gold, Blue Beetle, the Question, ARGUS, Zatanna and the Spectre.

I don't see why they don't just make a Trinity series.

As far as Spectre...have we even seen him in the New 52?

I've been REALLY loving everything in the GL books in the New 52. There were some bumps for a while (like most of the Red Lanterns series so far, up until Soule came on with #21) but they've mostly been good. And Venditti and Tan have breathed a lot of life into the tired galactic epics that Geoff Johns loves. Which were good, but they seemed to get old after a while. Like towards the end of his run.

Relic's definitely one of the coolest villains to come out of the New 52 so far, can't wait to see what happens with this. Hopefully Kyle ends this event with a mask that doesn't look like a pair of 3-D glasses made from stone.

I agree. He doesn't say much, but his concept definitely packs a punch and is a really interesting addition to the Green Lantern mythos.

Would it be ok for me to jump on board reading this issue, without any previous knowledge. If not where should I start because it looks interesting.

If you can't start from the beginning of the New 52, I'd start with issue twenty-one. It's the end of the Geoff Johns era of Green Lantern, but the beginning of a new chapter.

Agreed. Or if you've been reading any of the GL-related books of late (besides Larfleeze which doesn't tie-in at all so far) you can just pick up the issues of this crossover. But I highly recommend buying at least Venditti and Tan's current run. It's really good :)
