This issue focused a lot on the aftermath of Guy Gardner giving Atrocitus the thrashing of a life time in issue #21.
As Gardner is thrashing about because of the effects of taking on Atrocitus' master ring, the other Red Lanterns begin to quarrel about how to handle the situation.
Should they follow the strongest man on top? Should they elect a new leader? Fight it out amongst themselves? Or should they even have leader at all?
The progression through this issue is extremely clear, and the narrative direction remains to be a key factor as to why I keep putting down 2.99 on this book every month.
I suggest this book to anyone who like the Green Lantern lore (even just a little), and I also recommend it to anyone out there that likes "Deadpool-esque" smart-alec humor with lots of action.
Although the art direction is great, I still have a problem with the fact that it is inconsistent. On panel is clear and inviting, while the next page across the stapled binding in the middle will have real issues that need to be addressed.
I can't wait to see where the Red Lanterns are going to be going from here on out, and with the "Lights Out" cross over event on the horizon, I am super excited to see what happens with these angry fella's.
