Maybe black ink was cheaper than yellow, red or brown ink in the golden age.

also faster and easier to color, or not to color as the case may be.

It's business as usual for Jim Lee, but hey, he can get away with it, why? He's Jim Goddamn Lee, his art is worth it, don't like it? cry about it.

World War Z? Gravity is obviously going to win, because that's the movie they will choose. MoS exclusion is BS, World War Z looked awful.

If they're introducing Scarlet Witch AND Ultron then they would be stupid not to.

Not necessarily. The serum was designed based on a mathematical equation (provided by Peter) pertaining to lizard species and their regenerative properties. I don't think it'd apply for a completely different animal species, or in this case a rhino.

well that's what they are doing for Electro, or did no one else see the tank of electric eels... please say that I hallucinated that...

because neither of them beat him, Batman kicked him in the chin and then faked his own death before Superman could rip him apart.

Year One by a country mile in my opinion. nevermind about Superman, the political tones of it just don't jive with me.

If I understand what you're saying, I think I've seen that referred to as "landscape" or "horizontal". I didn't know that's what that series was like.

I think I've only read one horizontal comic(Promethea #11), and it was a little odd and awkward to find the right way to hold and look at it. That was just a one off, as Promethea often made each issue feel quite unique.

Is there some particular reason Batman/Superman is laid out like that?

it's just for this arc, because Toymaster has been manipulating Superman and Batman into fighting each other like a video game so they chose that format to convey a fighting game motif.

Personally I don't mind it too much, but I was surprised that it wasn't just for 1 issue.
