I would have done the same thing as the cops that pellet gun looked real enough but what was this kid thinking that he was going to win a gun fight with a pellet gun that fires a 6mm bb I've been shot by an airsoft it hurts but it's not deadly it doesn't even break the skin the kid was stupid and in the end his stupidity killed him
My assumption based on what I've gathered is that it was possibly a suicide by cops situation, for what reason i have no clue.
It's the most probable reason, considering he brought a very realistic-looking gun to school and pointed it at law enforcement officers, completely disregarding any warnings to drop the weapon. I feel bad for the kid and his parents, but the cops were in the right here.
That bully was an idiot, but that doesn't excuse murder. Punching someone in the back of the head is assault, but it's not deadly force. The kid proceeded to stab him 12 times which is ridiculous.
A punch to the back of the head can be deadly. Depending on the angle and location of the punch, also how much force is used. Add in variables such as brittle bone disease (Which someone couldn't possibly know that person has), and you've got yourself a recipe for disaster.
I usually drive to my local Hastings (since there isn't a legit comic book shop in my town that's not 50 miles away), around 2 pm and wait for one of the usual associates to come to the counter. Usually I'm there just right before they open the box. I wait next to them and hold various conversations about comic books, movies, music, etc, and as they sift through the stacks of books they hand off the ones in my pull list strait to me. I like this. This way I know the comic book I'm getting will be in good condition. I then finish up the conversation and browse the store for new books, movies, or novelties, weighing my financial options the whole way. After my round trip through the store I make my way to the counter and have a jokingly sarcastic rapport with the cashier (I used to work there so everybody knows me). I know it's not an actual comic book store, but I like the routine I've fallen into. And if for some reason I relocate to another store, I hope I can have the same experience there.
In The past year or so I've purchased over 150 comic books, estimating the total cost to be around 6-700 dollars. I've been cutting back recently, but against my will, as I am currently unemployed and cannot afford them atm.
