My sister was just watching Indian in the Cuboard and it got me thinking. I remeber i used to have that movie when I was a little kid, and remember that it came with a little Indian and a key that would open the VHS box. I guess my point is, VHS used to come with all sorts of cool things like little action figures or 3D glasses or something, Why don't DVDs do that? Anyone else remember those days...?
Anyone know how to get started in the comic book industry? I've got a few ideas worked up but now sure how to actually get it started. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Is there anyone on this site whose able to answer to a post without being a complete and utter jackass? It's not very helpful to those with serious questions. If someone posts and answer to a question is it necessary to repost it with some smart-ass comment? I think not...
So I went to go get Lady Mechanika today at my local Hastings store bc it is the only place within 50 miles of me that sells comics, and they dont have it. Why? Because Hastings is always 2 weeks behind everyone else in the comic world..... Does anyone else have this problem, or do I suffer alone....?
So i was going through my binders of comics the other day trying to find something to read (i re-read a lot of comics) and had noticed that ive bought comics from all kinds of publishers, ie: MARVEL, TOPCOW, etc, only to realize i didnt own anything from DC. Now, ill admit, ive never been a fan of DC, but i decided to give it a try and went out and bought my first DC comic, and it was TERRIBLE to say the least. At first i thought, "No wonder ive never bought a DC comic before.". Then i got to thinking about giving it another shot. So the point is, can anyone suggest a DC comic that i wont be utterly disappointed in. I'm into comics like Thor and The Darkness. I like dark, sadistic comics and also comics that kind of resemble D&D (sorry, im a nerd to the extreme). If anyone could help id greatly appreciate it for expanding my comic horizons.
Why is it that every time someone asks me for my opinion and when i give it to them they want to argue how wrong i am.... this happens all the time in the battle forums.... cant you people take an opinion for what it is, an opinion, thats all it is people, if you dont like it, dont comment on it, tough shit am i right? I think this whole site would be better if people could have civil debates more often than whos right and whos wrong arguments... Please.... if you dont like my opinion that YOU asked me to share.... then just shut your mouth before anything comes out... remeber, you asked for it...
Why does everyone i talk to think that Captain America is a douche-bag. "All he does is throw his shield around." is all i hear from anyone. It's Captain F@#%ING America people. A super soldier created to peak physical perfection. Let see some you take on Captain America, lets see who's left standing. Cap rules!
Why is it so hard to find good comics these days.... I think some of them are either starting to lose their touch or lacking creativity and originality... would love to see something new thats actually worth reading... For me Some of the titles they've been coming out with are so bland and unoriginal... Who else agrees?
