No offense, but I would say you aren't watching enough cartoons. I would however say that I'm really sick and tired of these anime cartoons based on card games.

Legion of Super-Heroes was a good cartoon (now, who didn't expect me to say that?)

But I didn't say I was digusted with all of them though. And Saturn im talking about the ones for 6-12 yrs as well.

You're completely right.  I'm an 80's kid.  It was the best decade to grow up in.  I religiously watched GI Joe and Transformers (did you ever catch that Cobra Commander and Starscream had the same voice?)  Then you had funner stuff like Smurfs and Thundar the Barbarian (even though a Star Wars rip off).  Today's cartoons bite hard.  If they made a quality marvel or DC cartoon that would be smart, like they did once before.

But in terms of Animation Transformers the Movie back in 86 was the greatest animation for its tiem period. I look at it now and stil wonder how it was done back in 86, it looks better than 90 percent of the animation nowadays. It also set the new standard for violence, language and darker story telling for the cartoons nowadays that are adult oriented. Thundercats I agree had great animation.

Transformers,He-Man,and GI-Joe were like the beginning of great animation.Transformers was really well done for how old it is.Thundercats to me was on another level though.Like to me Thundercats..just the opening itself looked better than some of the stuff I see today."

I have to agree on what your saying. No many jap cartoon type shows. I just hate that stuff. The spiderman one they got now looks terrible. The one back in the 90s was sweet along with the xmen one they had. Family guy is about the only one i watch. I miss the Justice League tho. That is my recent most favorite.
